Rainy Wednesday here in SWNJ - How U Doin?
Yesterday I drove myself to the dentist which doesn't seem like a big deal, but he is 1 hour and 45 minutes away. I did great on the trip. It is so wonderful to have energy again. I thought it would never happen.
Monica: So very proud of you and so happy for you.
Today I've already been to my PCP and to get an xray of my left elbow. I hurt it somehow about 3 weeks ago. I was trying to not use it , but it is worse. My 2 fingers on my left hand have gone numb. PCP said probably a neurologist in my near future.
I may need to cancel my knee replacement if the elbow does not greatly improve in the next week or so. I'm taking it in stride. No sense in getting upset at this point. One day at a time.
Thoughts and hugs to each,
Mag
Drove 80 miles for my 3 month appointment with the NUT this morning. I'm actually two weeks early but they're accomodating my travel plans. More pounds gone and I dropped off several large bags of large clothes at Goodwill.
I'm planning on traveling to Texas with a minimal amount of clothes in the car as I have a closet full of stuff to go through in the RV when I take it out of storage.
Weather up here has caused Mother Nature to put away her summer clothes and most of her fall clothes. Today she premiered her winter clothing with a dusting of snow on Mt. Katahdin. Time to move southwest!
Vickie- Wear knee pads to lay that tile! Good for you for testing the comfort zone and trying something new.
Nancy- So happy that you're getting to spend time in Texas with the grandkids, especially Morgan.
Trish - Hope that pesky bladder infection goes away. Don't forget to eat some yogurt to counteract the good bacteria that are going to be killed by the antibiotic.
Pat- I sympathize with you on the dating thing, but I don't think I'd stress about his female friends on Facebook. I think I'd see both gentlemen for a while until you decide which one is best for you. There's nothing wrong with that.
Monica- Sorry about Yoda's tummy ache. Clearly the marrow bone got to him. Hope the aches and pains are better after the trip to the chiropracter.
Mag- Kudos to you for driving yourself to the dentist. Know how it feels to have energy.
Grammylew- So glad that you put the sewing stuff away for awhile. You wore me out with all the sewing you did! I certainly wouldn't have had the patience to do all that sewing while recovering from VSG surgery.
Laureen- hope the chiropracter will help with your back problems. I'd like to go see mine on Friday after loading the car but his wife had the nerve to have a baby this week!
Eileen and Connie- Sorry the cooler weather is bothering you both. Nice to hear that Texas and LA are cooling down as I don't like hot weather.
I know that I have left someone out so I'm sorry.
Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the day and that tomorrow brings better things for all of us.
Evening OFF family...in pain again...living with the elephants above us is like a chinese torture chamber!! Why they keep doing this night after night and day after day is beyond me!!!!!! Stomping each and every step and then pounding with a hammer tap tap tap...every few minutes...WHY?????? Are they NUTS??? They have to be!!!!! From the time they get up in the morning and from the minute they come home from work...it starts!!!!!!!! Every single day!!!!!!! The manager has talked to them several times and they say they are not doing anything like that at all. Yeah right!! All we are hoping for is that when their lease is up they MOVE OUT!!!!!!!!!
Cold and rain here today nd looks that way for the next few days. Yippee. My pain is here along with it!!! I called my pain dr and can't get in to see him til next wednesday morning. The medication he gave me is not working very good at all. I have pain. If people talk to me the wrong way I cry. That is not me. I hurt. I can't get people to believe that. Just wish they could have this pain for one day and let them KNOW how I hurt. Maybe then they would KNOW how I hurt!!!!!!
Made meatloaf with the left over hamburger. Haven't had that in years. YUCK. Rick said its good. And he doesn't like burger meat. Maybe it will taste better to me tomorrow in a sandwich. Sighs. Maybe its because I hurt so tonight. Who knows.
Well just wanted to stop in and let you know I am still alive.
Prayers and thoughts for all that need them.
HUGS
