TODAY IS MY 5 YEAR SURGIVERSARY

Yuppers 5 years ago today I had my RNY WLS and never regretted it since!! I have lost about half of me and and in the process I have also grown "balls" to move on in my life to get a better life so to speak. I moved out of Michigan just over 3 years ago to Ohio to be with Rick. And most of you know the rest of the story so I won't go into it again.

Yes I love my new life and the only regret I have is I didn't have WLS sooner in my life!!! But then would I be here where I am now? I doubt it. SO I guess it was a good thing I waited huh? ;-)

So many things I can do now that I could not do 5 years ago!!! Its alot of fun doing things again that I thought I would never be able to do again!! Life is good!!!

Happy Surgiversary.  I think you and I are just a week or two apart.  By the time you were moving onto solids, I was going under.  You have come a long way.  If your old life is like my old life, it's like a dream.  I hope the next year is as good a year as the last three.  

Thankyou!!!! Yes I remember how it was for BOTH of us way back then!!! OMG what a life huh?? We were lucky to have gone through the surgery and now living a great change huh? WOW!!!!! And what a DREAM!!!!

Ah yes, I remember it well, sitting in the waiting room with your old hubby (who creeped me out), then coming back and walking the halls of Blodgett with you. You had a rough surgery, but Dr. Foote did a good job with it. It's been a trip, hasn't it?

Yes Dr Foote did a great job with all he had found inside of me from a previous hernia surgery...OMG!!!! And YES what a trip it has been!!! But what a wonderful ride it has been!!!!!!!!!!
