Rick and I are now Parents...
To a 6 month old black and white kitten!!! His name is Buster. We found him at Pet Smart this morning and just "looked" to see what was there. They ahd several cats there and OMG they had one there named Gunther and another Judy...OMG!!!!!!!!! I said get outta of here!! LMAOOOOOOOO Anyhow we noticed this little guy sticking his paws out for us to come pet him and he was purring up a storm for us!!! So we were petting him and talking to him and he has copper colored eyes...very pretty!! Never saw copper eyes in a black and white cat before. So anyhow we left. Did our shopping and came back home and then all of a sudden we were talking about Buster! Rick said he was a coold cat!! I agreed. Did we want him? I don't know. SO we did stuff around here to get the place ready for tomorrow's party. I had to run to the store for onions that I forgot last night. Was on my way back home and next thing I knew I was back at Pet Smart looking at Buster again. Did I want him? He was looking at me like well are you going to take me home or what? You know we want to love each other and all. So I called the number on his cage and talked to the woman that answered and asked what I had to do to adopt Buster. She told me to get an application from the manager and fill it out and they would fax it to the shelter he came from and then they would get back to me. OK. So I did that. I turned the application in to the manager and she faxed it to the shelter. Said I would hear from them soon. OK went home and told Rick what I did. He was like you did????? Yeah I did it. WOW!!! Next thing I knew my phone was ringing and it was the shelter telling me we were approved for Buster to adopt him!! We could pick him up tomorrow. I said no we couldn't do it tomorrow because we were having Rick's birthday party tomorrow and I didn't want to bring Buster into that mess. She agreed. Said I was smart not to do that to him. So I said how about Monday night after I get out of work. She said ok but call his foster mom and set it up with her on the time because she was sure she wanted to say good bye to him. OK good deal! So 6 pm monday night we go pick up our new baby kitty Buster.
Buster was found abandond in a parking lot. Poor thing!! He is so sweet too!! He has all his shots and is nutered also. Wish I could get a picture of him on here!! But this dam pc and my new camera and my brains do not go together well so until I can figure it out no photos of anything new!!! GRRRRRR Can't figure it out for FB either!!! I am so stupid on this stuff!!! Had kodak eas share before and no problems...now I have photos downloaded and no clue where they are!!! Sighs.
Well I just wanted to share my happy news that we are now adoptive parents to a kitty named Buster!!! And hopefully Bandit will accept him with as much love as we did!!

LOL Debbie!!! You are so right!! I think when he put his little paw on Rick's finger he got Rick's heart!!! So that is what got him to want another cat again I think....Rick swore up and down he did NOT want another cat ever again...and look what happened...BUSTER!!!!!! We can't wait til monday night now!!!
Animals are good for us humans!
My hubby was the same way...but Charlie just loved my hubby and that was the first cat he ever loved. We miss our Charlie.
Now our "Momma Cat" (that was dropped off by someone) had 5 kittens that are still alive, she just moved them so I don't know where Momma Cat put them but after she is done nursing them I'm going to have "Momma Cat" fixed. She is very protective of these kitties and goes after my doggies...should see these dogs afraid of Momma Cat! Too funny.
When they get older I'm sure I'll see them walking around...then I will pick one of them for me maybe. LOL
Yep, cats pick their humans.
Rick had his Sassy for years and when we moved to the apartment and he couldn't bring her with us he was heart broken but he did it for me...then she got sick and the ***** manager that we had would not let him bring her here to live her dying days out with him!!! That got to him big time....then we were on our way to michigan and he got the call that she died...it was so sad...he swore he never ever wanted another cat again!!! But then Buster came along and I guess that got him...I hope it works out for ALL of us...:-)
