Laureen: You are so important to me. I cherish our friendship
Vickie: Don't let Butch overdo it today. It's very good to be well rested for the day of surgery.
Monica: I would love to try some biscuits and gravy. Do you think it will be OK to have a few bites? I'm 9 months out now.
Trish: Hope you heal quickly. Prayers for you.
Pat: Hope you have a good day.
I am sorry if I missed someone. Not intentional. Today is my first day staying at my friends house with the 3 dogs. They plan to be home on the 30th. I like all three dogs. I can walk them and/or take them to the doggie park. No Internet there, but will be home off and on throughout the week.
I have a UTI. I've been pushing fluids even more than normal. Dr. order antibiotics for me. Need to go pick them up. I don't know why they don't give me the script when I'm in the office.
Thinking of everyone. Take care and lots of hugs, Mag
It's my weekend ... hurray! Woke up earlier than I wanted to someone pounding on my door. It was the UPS man, but he just left the envelope at the door ... it's my closing documents for the condo closing ... it's really happening! Now I have to find a notary (and wait for payday to get them notary, or find a free one ... in La. that may be difficult ... everything costs here).
I got home early this morning at 1 a.m., thought I started the dishwasher, but this morning, I had dirty dishes yet, so I had to run it this morning.
In a couple of hours, Miss Juliette and I are going to go for a car ride, and she is getting her one-year checkup. Can't believe she and I have been together for a whole year. She's such a healthy little girl. Then, I'm going to come home and watch baseball. Good playoff games going on, and I've missed most of them.
Well, that's my day. It's a pleasant fall day but I'm too tired to do a whole lot. Laureen, I understand about being in pain ... I live in it every day. Some days are better than others, but there's pain every day.
Have a good day.

Found a recipe on FB last night for a Magic Crust Custard pie. Looked easy and quick enough to do. So I made that for the Taco Bar thingy at work tomorrow. Looks good. Hope it tastes good! Guess I should try it huh? LOL Can always make another one yet tonight for tomorrow. See if Rick wants to try a slice of it. Will let you know in a minute. YUMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!! If you want the recipe here it is...
MAGIC CRUST CUSTARD PIE
1/4 cup margarine, 4 eggs, 3/4 cup sugar, pinch of salt, 2 cups milk, 2 teaspoons vanilla and 1/2 cup flour.
put all ingredients into blender. blend for 30 seconds. pour into buttered 9" pie pan. sprinkle with nutmeg. bake 350* for 45 minutes. the flour will settle to make its own crust.
Not sure if you can use splenda or not but I am sure you can if you now how to do it. I used the regular sugar.
Ok need to go make another pie now...:-)
Thoughts and prayers for all that need them!!!
HUGS
Happy Thursday evening OFF family, I'm bringing up the rear again!
I was sick yesterday, must have been the temp change. Kinda dizzy and felt yucky. Today much better and running my butt off here at work. Didn't even take a dinner break but ate an apple honeycrisp at the desk and a piece of left over pizza that I brought from home. Later I'll drink a low carb EAS shake, need more protein. Oh well...and life just keeps going.
I have tomorrow off but have to come into work to sit on an interview for an administration opening. It's an honor I was selected so since I'll be in town I think I'll go shopping and buy my new grandson some outfits at Marshall's. It's rainy here for the rest of the week and the temp is dropping. That's fine with me...seems like I've been having "power surges" lately! LOL
Maybe next weekend I'll go camping or go up to Mackinac to see BIL and SIL.
Hugs and prayers for all in need. Debbie
Best wishes on your interview process. You're only responsible for the effort, the outcome will be as it is meant, but I've not doubt you are worthy of the position.
Hugs, Laureen
