Hi Monica,
Yes, ice packs are my saving grace this week.  I have two I trade off.  One is in the freezer, while one is on my foot.  I had to go to Rite Aid to find the one I can wrap around my foot with elastic and velcro, because I lost the one I had on my other foot in March.  The other one they gave me in post-op, and I tie it to my foot with a pretty scarf.

Now, to bide my time till I can take my next dose of pain meds.  I have 15 minutes to go.

Hugs,
Trish

You rock women. You know your fans expect pictures of projects PLEASE.
Hubby found a restaurant that makes fabulous breakfast sausage gravy and melt in the mouth Bisquick's. Happy tummy he had.

I KNOW YOURS ARE BETTER!

Chiropracter visit was great. Scary when he cracked me, but good. Loved the decompression machine and electrodes. He called to check up on me last night. I kept waiting for the discomfort he said I would have and it has not happened. I feel good, slept good and awoke with no punched up muscles or numbness.
We went to Olive Garden and enjoyed our dinners. My eyes and mouth wanted the "tour of Italy", but my pouch and mind knew that would be way too much. Mindful eating is a treat to conquor. I had soup, some salad and a flatbread appetizer. I left with a happy tummy, not stuffed, satisfied. Small plates are so important to me and hubby. We stopped using large plates 7 yrs ago and it works well for us.
Hoping all have a happy day. Very humid here, grateful for AC.
Hugs, Monica.....special hugs for Pat.

 Hi Monica,
Eating out is always a challenge for me.  I find it satisfying to order a regular meal, cut it in half when I get it, and then eat till I am satisfied, and take home the remainder.  One time, I had enough for two extra meals.  My sister had taken me to a diner near where I live, and the meal came with yummy soup, salad, bread, a yummy chicken and baked potato.  I was full before my platter came.  It was the best chicken I had in ages.

Glad you enjoyed your meal, and that your chiropractor visit was so helpful.

Hugs,
Trish

Good morning!

Just time to say "hi"!  Got a lap full of wiggle worm--oops!  I mean Benny--this morning!  Had a very up and down night!  This Mimi is tired.

Chris and John more or less exploded after their counseling session yesterday.  Had several hysterical tearful phone calls from her last night!  Oy vey!  Not expecting a good outcome there.  So sad.  Butch and I are bracing ourselves for what's to come.

Making progress on the bath remodel.  Butch is trying to lay the floors before his knee surgery tomorrow.  I'm no help with Benny here, but we'll see how it goes.

Can't leave without telling Laureen how much I have valued your friendship and advice these past 8 months!  Of course you matter, silly woman!  We all love and treasure you here.  So glad to hear Susan's good news.  No cancer!  Yeah!

More to say, but little man is demanding my attention!

Love you all!

Good morning to Everyone!

Here I am again!  I'll sneaking a peak at work so gotta be quick, but wanted to wish everyone a wonderful Thursday!

A couple of my sisters and I are going to go through mom's room  in the morning and sort out everything that needs to go to charity and what we will keep. It will be a tough morning I am sure.
Gotta a busy Saturday at our church tomorrow. We are having a major cleanup day to get ready for homecoming on Oct 30th.  I am responsible for feeding the multitude!  Gonna cook a big pot of chili and some cornbread!  Wish me luck.

Hugs,
Vera

Connie, I understand. I had a fibro flare yesterday, and I had to work. I was miserable, and I had eight pages to do. Every little movement with the mouse hurt. I'm so happy I'm off today and all I have to do is lug 9 lbs of cat to the vet.

Take it easy and do something for you.

Eileen...I know you know exactly the pain I am feeling.
Yesterday was really bad too. I feel pain everywhere from my head to my feet. Some is Arthritis but mostly Fibromyalgia.
Trying to keep a 4 year old busy for 9 hours a day is no easy task when I feel this bad. I have to take my Vicodin and Flexeril and it makes me so spacey and very, very sleepy. The minute my daughter gets here I am going to bed so I can relax and hopefully the spasms will stop.

Have a wonderful evening....glad you didn't have to go into work today.

Hugs...connie d
