Women only TMI
Hi everyone,
I have a question for the ladies. I had VSG on 9-13-11. My period was due that day. I STILL haven't gotten it (definitely NOT pregnant).
I will be 50 next month and I have had some irregular cycles over the last year but nothing this long. I feel bloated like I'm going to get it, yet it never comes. Along with this, I have been in a stall for a week.
Menopause? surgery related? any ideas?

My periods were very irregular for years before and after my RNY. Some women would get their period the day of surgery, unexpectedly. It could be the opposite for you. My last period was November 2007, when I was 50.
Best advice would be to talk to your OB/GYN. But, I do know that once you go an entire year without a period, you are done.
Talk to the doc to be sure there is nothing wrong.
