Hi Its Saturday, Have you missed Me?????

 Hi There,
I havent had internet service for 2 days cause I was at my cousins in or above Canyon City colordado and my hot spot wouldnt work nor did my cell phone so I was unaproachable for 2 days. Noone bothered me!!!!!. but my husband called me on my cousins land line.!!!!!!! He for sure had to check up on ,me!!!!!
I rented a car on Wednesday for 6 days cause no one could let me borrow a car to go to the doc office. So I decided to just rent a car. I rented a jeep for 9.95 aday enterprize had a deal at the airport so I jumped on that one!!!!! 
My time is almost up in Denver. I am feeling much better after spending 4 days in the hospital after my surgery. I am flying to Chicago to see my new nephew and check up on my newly married daughter. then on Friday i am flying back home to Sarasota and going back to my so called crazy job on Sunday.
Talk on Im getting tired.

Glad you sound well.  Hope the surgery was successful.  Sounds like you are Wgetting your rest, which you deserve.

I am bummed that my Phillies lost last night.  What a tough game.  

Today has me getting ready for an AA meeting, and doing some organizing around my apartment.  Then, I will head to my therapist's office.  I have some stuff to work through with him.  I also want to pick up some ricotta cheese and apples.  I plan to make a baked ziti tomorrow, and some applesauce.  I love homemade applesauce.  Now that I have a freezer, I can freeze stuff I make.  Oh, and I need some frozen veggies, stew beef and canned tomatoes.   I started a pot of beef soup, and need the groceries for it.

Trish, Sorry, but watching baseball is kind of like watching the grass grow. Sorry your team lost, but I'm in St. Louis for the week arriving just in time yesterday to spend a few hours with my Aunt Alene who turned 90 last week. Not much visiting out loud as "her" Cardinals were playing. She had on her #27 jersey; I forget who that was! And she had her towel to wave and wave it she did. It was fun to watch her and to see a 90 yr old still so delighted in life and living it fully!

     Hope you are able to talk about things with your therapist today. It usually helps me quite a bit. I have my appointment on Monday. It's a 50 minute session.  The only problem is that medicare raised my co-pay from 29.00 to 49.00. I won't be able to see him as often.    Mag

Good mornin' ya'll.
Well I have finished the 2 back pillows on our DIL's couch. Today I will do the seat cushions. Then I will start on the really difficult part. The entire couch! I will need uninterrupted time at their house, with my sewing machine. That may be difficult. The older grandson has a very erratic school and work schedule. When he can, he sleeps til afternoon. And, of course, the dogs will want to help. I can lock them in the backyard but they won't be happy about it. But I will figure something out. First I will need to turn the couch over to see how I will anchor it all. You know I love a challange, but I may have bitten off more than I can chew.
Speaking of chewing. The scales are finally moving in the right direction, but very slowly!
Our son and family came for dinner last night and we watched the Oregon Ducks beat Cal. I already knew the outcome, the others didn't. The replay of LaMichael James dislocating his arm was awful. It sure looked broken to us!
Fall is in the air and I love being able to have the windows open.

Great flight to St. Louis yesterday from Seattle. I handled the flight fine. Got up and walked a couple of times, but didn't have any problems. Legs are a bit more swollen than usual this morning but not bad. Warmer than I expected here; may need to hit a thrift store for another pair of capris and some flipflops or on sale sandals as I packed "fall" clothes and it's definitely warmer than that right now. Carla, glad to see you posting and happy that you're healing.

    Glad you had a good flight. All the clothes I took for my trip to Indiana were summer clothes.  Bought somethings at goodwill. Got great things. Also many of my friends gave me clothes they don't wear any more. Mag

Morning Carla and OFF family...

Well I am up and yes I am still hurting in my back!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR the injections did not help it seems...well they did some but not like before. The pain seems to have moved to the upper back area now! Sighs...going to call the dr monday if its not gone by then.

Workers are here for the lower apartment that wa**** last week. One morning that I COULD sleep and now I can't because of the noise...oh well. I wasn't sleeping all that well anyhow. Sleep is a thing of the past it seems.

Party for Rick is a week from tomorrow and all the things I need to get done...OMG not sure if I can do it now with this hurting back of mine!!! Praying the weather will be nice atleast so we can be outside for it. Asked people to RSVP by the 12th and so far I have a FEW that already did. Rick keeps mentioning his mom for this and that to help and I keep saying NO!!!!! I am the one giving this party for him and I do NOT want any help from HER!!!!!!!!! She is the last person I will take any help from!!! Enough said. I am sure you are all sick of hearing about her anyway. I know I am!! Still no word on Rick's daughter and her test results. He did call her and she would not tell him. Said negative. Not sure we believe that one. So we give up. But thankyou all for your prayers and thoughts for her and us!!! We do know she is involved AGAIN with a black guy that is a trouble maker that lives in our complex. She will be 21 in December and its her life. Like I said...we give up. She will not listen. If she wants to do wrong its her life. End of that. Enough said. No more. Done.

Working today 1-9. Not looking forward to the closing part at all because I know that my back will start hurting again but I will start cleaning up as early as possible so I can rest inbetween.

Carla...you are doing way to much if you ask me!! You had surgery woman!!! Take it easy for gosh sakes!!!!

Caroline...you amaze me!!! Tackling that couch...wow!! You go girlfriend!!! And Congrats on the scale FINALLY moving!!!!!!!!  About time!!!! :-)

Trish...well crud!! I read what you posted but now I can't remember what it was about!!! GRRRR (((Trish))) I hate it when I get that CRS!!!!!
