Oh happy day!  Left the house wearing a pair of size 16 capris and a size L top this morning.  Michael, my hairdresser, told me I was "melting away".  Tee hee!

Then I stopped in at Hobby Lobby and the two sweet ladies who work in the fabric section made such a fuss over me.  "Look at Miss Slim and Trim," they said.

All that noticing really has made me feel good today!

Whoo hoo!  Good for you, Cindi!  When you can shrink a size in JEANS, that's something!  I still can't button my size 16 jeans, but I'm gonna get there.  I always think of jeans as the true litmus test!  LOL!

Becoming visible to the world is a true gift. Happy for you and the great success you are achieving....nice to know you can make the difference in your life. Many of us have failed in our weight loss journey through life, I know I did and how that made me feel. Sure I had a surgical intervention to lose my weight, a big decision that I live every day. I am happier and healthier for this intervention. Support and true caring from all here have sustained me, even when I had hit rock bottom.
Remembering how hard Easter Candy time hit you. Walking into Target that one day and seeing ALL the "off limits" stuff. You bought it home with you, but you put it away for Bennie...it lived in your house and you chose not to eat it. That took courage and stamina.....you were new to this journey and did not have the success days to support your courage. I yelled at you, prayed for you, and believed in you as I still do. Yeah to smaller sizes, being visible, and ENJOYING IT...CAUSE YOU EARNED IT.

Aww, thank you, Monica!  I have always felt supported by you, my sweet friend, even when you were "yelling" at me!  LOL!  I'll take your "yelling" over indifference any day.

Post Script:  Just back from my well woman exam and my gyn dr just could NOT believe how much weight I've lost since this time last year.  She kept saying, "You had surgery in Feb, 20-ELEVEN?"  And I would say "yes".  And she would say, "Not 20-TEN?"  "No, doc, Feb 22, 2011."

She also could not believe how low my bp and cholesterol are now.  I think I may have made a convert to WLS!  LOL!
