Twisted Tuesday, what's up?

Hi Caroline and my OFF family:

Ballgame is just about to start. I've been up for awhile, but there were (gasp) 54 emails, along with a phone call from my friend Roxane this morning, so I'm late getting started. Rox is my age (or a year younger) but didn't start having kids until her 40s, so she has a high school freshman and a fifth-grader now. She is soccer mom to the max, plus a full-time nurse ... busy woman! More energy than I'll ever have.

I applied for a couple more jobs this morning/afternoon, too. Not newspapers, but nonprofits. I keep throwing my resume out there and seeing what sticks. Not much, though.

Well, back to work tonight. Yesterday was hectic, but not overwhelming. Not looking forward to Wednesday or Thursday.

Anyway, have a good day.

Late afternoon and I'm still in jammies. No ambition, just want to veg!!!!

My normal morning routine is to sit at the computer with Annie nestled on my lap. Today, Baxter wanted a warm lap. You should have heard her swear at him. I made them BOTH go away before a fight started.

All the outside plants are safely in the laundy room before the expected freeze. Once upon a time my house was filled with lush plants. Then the cats moved in and the plants were no longer safe. That's okay - the laundy room looks good with greenery.

Good evening OFF family, I'm bringing up the rear. Happy Tuesday.

So today I went on my 4 mile walk. The farmers are busy and working on their corn fields.
Got home and decided I could start mowing the lawn before I went to work. I got almost half of 9 acres done then my belt slipped on the mower. Hubby finished it up when he got home.

Momma cat has 6 live kittens, 2 are black, 2 are yellow and 2 are multi colored. My grandkids will love to play with them when they get a little older.

Hugs and prayers for all in need. I'm gonna go back and read some postings now. Debbie
