Good Morning Shirley and OFF to follow,
I am uber blessed today.  While both my teams lost yesterday, I feel blessed because I had a good time with my son at the Eagles game, in spite of the loss.  My son could have taken anyone of his friends, and he took me.  What a thrill.

Today, I have to make a phone call to my therapist, and then make my AA meeting at noon.  I also have to get bloodwork drawn, as my coumadin level was way low on Friday.  It better be right today, because I have to go off of it on Wednesday for my surgery next week.  Go figure.

I hope everyone has a super blessed day.

Hugs,
Trish

There is almost no better smell then a house full of apples a cinnamon simmering for applesauce, or a pie. We used to get bushels at our local farm where I grew up. They also made the best apple cider!
Our son came by for his usual lunch and nap. I was happy for the break. I had been pinning and cutting most of the morning. I always make his salad, visit and watch a little history channel with him and the DH. Then when they get ready to take their naps, I go back to work. By then the 800 mg Motrin has done it's job and I can go back to work.

Now why are you under a rock, sweet Connie?  You've been hinting for days that things are not quite right.  You okay?

Thanks for the concern Vickie.....things are just very hard right now. I put on my happy face all day long and do what I need to do. Then I go in my room and crash. My depression is worse then it has been in years. I will get through it I always do.

Hugs....connie d

Hi Shirley and my OFF family:

Getting on here a little late; I got up at 11 and was chatting on Skype with my friend Mary Kay in Michigan. It's gorgeous here in La.; 77 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. I love fall; I've always loved it anywhere I've lived because of the changing colors and the crisp air. Here, it's because the temperatures are cooler. But I still can't sleep with the windows open; too much crap in the air. My eyes are all itchy and my nose was running last night. I do open the sliding patio door when I get up.

I was draggin' last night; don't know why but I was tired all day. I have four more days of work and two of those are going to be hell.

Well, not much else happening. My Bears won yesterday so I was happy even though I didn't get to watch the game (not shown here). Have a good day.

Good evening OFF family, it's almost 10pm and I'm posting late. It was a very busy day here at work.

Went on my 4 mile walk and when I came back, Momma Cat came up on the deck. I could tell she started having kittens and I told her "show me where your babies are", she did, she started having the litter under the steps from our walkout basement. She had 3 all ready, one just born and the other 2 I thought would die they were so cold. Took Momma cat in the barn and put her in a nice rabbit cage with straw and a pillow and some towels, took the 3 newborns in the house for a while and rubbed them with a towel. Brought them back to Momma and checked on her again just when I was leaving for work. The 2 I thought would die were still alive and nursing. Her last one was still in a sac and was dead and I think I counted 6 kittens. I'll check on her when I get home tonight. As soon as she is done nursing I'm taking her to the vet to get her fixed.
Maybe I'll find a special little kitty in this litter since I lost my Charlie cat. Of course living in the country we are never short of cats/kittens as people just drop them off.

Take care, I'm going to read some posts now. Prayers and hugs for all in need. Debbie
