Morning all, sober 334 days and so proud of me.
God is good, Anwar Al-Awlaki no longer walks the earth.
Traveling bra day with 2 doctor appointments and other errands. Getting more excited with the approaching arrival of our new grand child. Name is still up in the air. I signed up for free baby stuff and get 3 magazines, so much new stuff for baby's and mom's. How did we raise our kids without all these gadgets? Very well I think.
Special prayers for Morgan and her entire family. Prayers for all who have issues with life....like us all I guess. Hoping Carla is out of hospital today and feeling better.

Good morning, my friends!
I just had to post, if for no other reason than to watch my ticker go down. Had a very pleasant surprise when I stepped in the scale here at this house this morning. Only another pound + to go before I can claim 80 lbs lost!
Got to Houston okay yesterday, got my man from the airport okay, got to sleep in my own bed again last night--OKAY! Oh, and got to get in my hot tub again. Also, okay!
So much to do today. I just want to hide back under the covers again. Got a to-do list 3 miles long today. So, I'd better get to it.
Oh, but can't leave without a PTL for little Morgan! So happy to hear that good news, Nan!

Came into work an hour early this morning -- so much stacked up and can't get a lot done in 3 hrs..... waiting on one of the V.P.'s to get back with me on his Notary info.
Cold, windy and rainy here -- next week sounds promising tho' - need to start cleaning out my flower beds for winter.
Jim is in Oklahoma with his daughter and grandson -- last I heard the SIL was doing ok and starting to wake up. Jim took his other daughter's laptop so he could keep in touch but so far it's not me he's keeping in touch with -- ??? Trying not to get my feelings hurt.
Have lots to do to keep busy this weekend -- read our bookclub selection, work on the baby bib, clean, and watch the baseball playoffs.
Such wonderful news about Morgan -- God does hear and answer our prayers.

Eileen still praying that you get some relief from that back pain.....same for Judy too.
I am doing laundry today and a little cleaning. I canceled the cleaning lady as it is too hard with this other person here. I am constantly picking up after her....what a slob!! Like I don't have better things to do grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!
I lost another good friend yesterday. She was riding with her husband on their Harley and hit a deer. She died instantly and he is in serious condition. I feel just sick. I won't be able to get to that funeral either. Not liking my life right now!!!
Need to get back to laundry....have a good day everyone!

Sorry about your friend. Unfortunately, we are reaching the age where our friends start passing of course her death was a horrible accident.
Sorry about the slob temporary roommate. I have another friend in a similar situation.

Thank you Cindi....yes, Laura died so senselessly. Neither one were wearing helmets....sure wish they would have been. She was a wonderful person and I will miss her. We grew up in the same neighborhood so I have known her all my life. Sure hope her husband comes through. He is in pretty bad shape himself.
The slob has moved on. My daughter spoke with her...we backed each other up....she obviously didn't like our rules. She packed up her mess of things and left...Woooohoooooo!!!
