Sunday What's Up?

 Good Morning OFF Family,
Hope everyone is having a blessed day.  My Saturday was great, even though the Phillies lost,  There were as many Philles fans as Mets fans where I was sitting.  We got a friendly ribbing, but it was all in good fun.  

Today, I have church, then the Eagles game to watch.  I also have to get the Bible study book from the Bible study leader today, then give it to ny friend who is coming to Bible study with me.

 Hi Trish and everyone to come,
I am having a low key day today. I am having hernia surgery tomorrow and have to be at the hospital at 5am!!!!! Not sure if they r going to do it open or closed. So time will tell.
I am in Denver. Ill probably be here till the 18th. Then I am hopefully going to chicago for a few days cause Ihave a new baby comming today or sometime this week. My neice is having her 2nd baby. it is a boy. 
We r haveing a hen session with all our gal pals today and a brunch this morning here at my friends house. Lox bagles and all the trimmings!!!!! Big jewish eating fest!!!!! and Im not hungry. Hmmmmm wonder why!!!!! Oh well conversation will be great!!!!!.
Im in a lot of pain from the traveling and this hernia!!!!!! so I wish I was having it done today but oh well I guess the doc needs a day off too.!!!!!!

 Hi Carla,
I also had hernia surgery about 15 months after my Open RNY.  It was an incisional hernia, and it was extremely uncomfortable.  My doc put in a mesh net.  I have been fine since then, but I relapsed on sugar shortly afterward, and regained about 40 pounds.

I will keep you in my prayers for a speedy recovery.

Best wishes for your surgery, Carla. I have had a hernia, but not from my WLS. No fun, it hurt a lot. Take it easy on yourself after the surgery and take your pain meds.

Well I hurt my back last night picking up the doors to the new refrigerator we have a t work. They really aren't heavy but bulky I guess you could say but I did put my back brace on and I still hurt my back!! I will NEVER touch those dam doors again!!!!!!!!!!! OMG my back HURTS!!!!!!!!!!!!! If they don't like it to bad!!! I think my back and me not hurting is more important than me taking those doors off and on...there are guys there that can help do it!!!! And why it has to go into lock down at night is dumb if you ask me!!! And one other thing that is also stupid isd where they have the thermometer!! It is way up at the top and that is almost 8 feet high!!! And it is so small and how they expect you to see it to get a reading is beyond me!!!!!!!  Also had one mess to clean up because the girl ahead of me was not doing her job again...I had all her dirty pizza pans to wash and then when it was time to make more pretzels she had the empty bag still in the freezer waiting for me to throw it out...again!! Then in the other freezer there was a broken churro sitting on the shelf which she should have thrown out as well but saved that for me to throw out for her. Now mind you the trash bins are less then two feet away from where these freezers are at so what is the problem??? I give up!!!!!! Just plain laziness!!!!!!!!!! I hope she goes to the bakery and is finally finished in the food court for good!!! So sick and tired of her not doing her job!!!

Ok enough of that...Yesterday Rick's mom stopped over...I went out with Bandit just in time to miss seeing her...guess she was lucky!!! I was not in the mood to see her or tell her off!!! Plus she did not come inside the apartment!!! Guess she knew better....LOL. Still nothing on Nicole. Guess we will never know. Rick said that if she has to have all her female parts removed that will be a good thing. No more babies. She can't take care of the one she has now...TRUE!!!!

Back is starting to hurt so need to go lay down again. Prayers and thoughts for all that need them!!!

Judy....I agree with Carolyn.....report/document that injury. That kind of work is not for you too be doing with a bad back. They are expecting way too much!! I too hope that lazy girl goes soon!! What a waste of payroll.....they need to find someone more competent for the job,

Connie soon as I get to work tomorrow morning IF I can move that is, I will go right to a manager and let them KNOW how lifting those doors hurt my back! I will NOT be lifting them ever again!!

As for Rick's mom...as much as I want to blast her...I won't do it first of all because she IS his mom and second because she isn't worth wasting my breath on her!!!!!

Good mornin' ya'll.
Well, yesterday I got my drain tube out. Woohoo!! I was soooo happy to be able to take a good shower and get the rest of the gunk off of me from the sleeve surgery. Afterwards, I hade the hotel shuttle driver drop me at Walmart. This time I took my time and walked around quite awhile. I needed more drinkable yogurt and I wanted to get a couple of Gracias cards for my favorite waiter in the dining room and for the shuttle driver. Such a very different Walmart! Stuff you would think would be together were half a store apart. ie: salt, sugar, spices were on three different aisles next to nothing related. The one thank you card looked all froo froo. The rest of the very small card selection were birthday and wedding. Very small frozen selection. Meat displays with no refrigeration I could see. Fresh fish in big uncovered displays, but on ice. Huge selection of paper products and pet supplies though! No craft stuff,
but I didn't really expect to see that.
I spent part of the afternoon down by the pool crochetting. When I got back there was a note in my key slot. I had forgotten to take the do not disturb sign off, so the note was if I wanted my room made up to let them know by 6 PM. I used my iPad to translate it. Now WHY hadn't I though of that last Monday? I could have been communicating so much easier all week! This is the Marriott and it is very nice. You have to use your key card to use the elevator and it won't let you select any floor but yours or the lobby. But the stairs have unlimited access. Also, there is a key card in a little thingy on the wall in your room. They ask that you take that card with you when you go out and it turns off all the electricity to your room. Very
green of them. That may be SOP but I have never seen it before.
My daughter will be in Fresno this week. Her new store in Dallas, OR will be serving breakfast so some of them are going for training on that. They will be expanding to breakfast in some of their other Taco Bell stores next year.
I better head on down for my yummy chicken broth breakfast! I go home tomorrow and can go to cream soups, etc.
