Sleepy Saturday What's Up?

Good Morning OFF Family,
I am awake, barely.  My back s killing me, and I have heartburn.

Last night's plans to go to the Phillies game in New York were changed to tonight.  Rain caused a postponement.  Fortunately, I did not go to New York for the game.

So, today, I will be heading to my therapist, and then to New York for the game.  Hopefully, the raiin will be gone tonight.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Hugs,
Trish

Good morning Trish & all,

The house is very quiet. Annie is asleep on my lap, the other animals have found their morning nap places. The only sounds are the birds in the trees and rain gently falling. For 2 cents I'd crawl back into bed.

That would mean missing the 8:30 aerobics class. The class will do me good.

I had my flu shot a couple of days ago and my arm is sore. Better a sore arm than the flu.

My surgeon's office sent paperwork for blood work and an appointment for next month. This will be my FIVE YEAR check up. I like to go back and read my journal from those early days. The journal has all my fears and hopes written honestly. Pre-op is stressful!!!

Time to move Annie and grab my gym bag.

Get up all you sleepy heads.

Good morning -- golly it seems good to be back to my usual routine.   Laundry is all caught up, house is clean - thanks to my cleaning angel who came yesterday, shopping done.

Miss Fluffy is like velcro -- she actually slept with me the whole night.  At least now that I've been home a couple days she is not quite so vocal!  It's hard on animals I think to have their primary care giver gone for so long....they actually miss us....lol

The guy from nearby has cooled off from pestering me to get together....and I've met someone from Pennsylvania that I like a lot.....we chatted on line for almost an hour last evening.  So you see, I am moving on and there are other guys out there that have expressed an interest, and I'm glad of that.

Made an awesome beef stew yesterday afternoon and think I will invite the neighbors (that took care of Fluffy) over for dinner tonight.

Calling for rain here for the next few days, and the sun came up red this morning.  It's cool compared to where we were last week!

Have a great day -- I missed all of you!

 Pat,
Glad you are home, safe and sound.  Hope you are able to catch up on all the stuff you need to take care of.  I am hoping to travel to Michigan in November to visit my Munchkins and daughter.  A lot will depend on my recuperation from my next surgery in October.  I am having another hammertoe surgery on my right foot this time.  It is scheduled for October 11th.

Take care.

Hugs,
Trish

Morning Trish and OFF family to follow!!

Well it is a cool morning here in Willoughby Ohio today! 54* and cloudy with rain in the forecast. Yippee.

Work today 330-9 and I figure it will be one dead ass shift. Well after I get done CLEANING up after her mess. The new refrigerator unit should be installed for us as of last night so looking forward to seeing how that looks. We are getting new salads, yogurt parfaits, fruit cups, sushi, drinks and chocolate milk in. Not sure yet what else we will be having. So looking forward to the new foods. About time I say!! So tired of pizza and hot dogs!!

Well I got some sleep last night finally! Took me having a drink before bed to do it though...not going to make that a habit so don't worry!

Well best get going here and get some things done before work. Thoughts and Prayers for those that need them!!

HUGS

Hi Trish and all Off friends,

I'm sooo cold. It's still in the low 100's in Arizona. I'm ready to get back to clear skies and warmth. I'm staying with friends in Valparaiso, Indiana. Temps are around 60. No sunshine to warm me up. Maryann and her brother, Bill, are like family to me. It's good to visit but I wish my flight was sooner. I just think fall came too quickly.

Spent yesterday making phone calls and taking care of business details. Will be going to a memorial at 11AM. Then everyone is going to a pizza place for lunch. I don't know what they will have for me to eat. A little worried about that. Think I will take a protein drink with me just in case.

Must go and do a few other things before I leave at 10:30. Everyone take care of yourself. Be good to one another.  Hugs,   Mag

Good morning, Trish, and my OFF sistas!

Okay, so the big news is, I bought a car!  Yesterday.  All by myself.  Gulp.  I hope DH is happy with it.  And with me!  I think he will be okay about it.  I mean, we talked about it before he left and couple of times since he's been gone.  But I never bought a car all by myself before.  It's a little stressful.

However, I absolutely LOVE it!  Or at least I think I will.  It's in another state and they're having to go get it for me.  I won't actually get it until next Monday or Tuesday.  I got a new 2012 Ford Edge.  It's so so cool!  All that new Ford SYNC stuff is amazing.  Voice commands, nav system, sirius radio . . . I may have to go to school to learn it all.

Well, I'll post pics on FB when it gets here.  In the meantime, I'm stuck waiting around at Hilltop for a few more days.  I had planned to drive home today, but obviously that's not going to happen.  Instead my oldest daughter, Carrie, is going to drive down from Waco and spend the weekend with me, which will be wonderful.  Haven't seen her since August.  And Chris and the baby are coming today too, so I'll have all my babies with me tonight.  Can't wait!

Need to get going.  I need to do a bit of cleaning before my company gets here.  Have a happy Saturday everyone!

Love you all!

Congratulations, Vickie.  So proud of you.  Hope you have many miles of driving happiness with your new ride.  I remember doing tons of research before buying my first Honda Civic, and I was married then.  My then husband gave me the financial parameters we could afford, but left it to me to pick the car.  When I totalled that one, I was single, and I had about a week to research again.  I picked out a used, but newer, Civic, with features I wanted in my first Civic but could not afford.
