What's Up Thursday?
Where is everybody? I am up and about to take Utley for a walk.
AA meeting and knitting are on my agenda. What's on yours?
Hugs,
Trish

Morning Trish and all who follow. Sober 326 days and so proud of me.
Not much going on, visiting the chiropractor and my PT today. Still having vertigo, but balance is better. Grateful for my cane indeed. Hubby doing better.
Had a really nice phone visit with a friend. Still having problems with long phone call, but have made great progress with this. I enjoyed the call, the questions and friendship shared.
Wishing well to Carla and Annette with their surgeries. Prayers for Morgan and her family.
Waiting on the birth of our new grand daughter. Decision on name is still up in air. Will share when decided.
Have a happy day, hugs Monica

The surgery was for Baxter. He was neutered, dew claws removed and a baby tooth taken from the roof of his mouth. He did fine, I was a nervous wreck.
The Vet wants me to be very careful with the amount of food he eats. Apparently, 8 lbs is headed towards pudgy. She recommends 2 tablespoons in the morning and at night. She said his tummy is the size of a walnut. We all know it is hard to lose weight so I'll do my best to keep him slender.
The agency I work for is forming a TOPS group. I plan to join. As a Support Group leader I need support too. They asked for a leader but I declined.

Good mornin' ya'll.
I am at The Marriott in Tijuana. They have internet access. So happy.
I got to TJ Monday, got my pre-op tests. They thought they might be able to do my surgery that afternoon. But the 2 ahead of me took longer than expected. I was OK with that really. I want my doc well rested! And Tuesady he did have a challenge with my scar tissue. But I now have the gastric sleeve. From all the research I think this is my next logical step. When I got the band 4 years ago I was sure I didn't want part of my guts cut out. And it was perfect for 2 years. But then after that first unfill I spent tons of money trying to get it perfect again, only to get a leak. I think I will be much happier now. And BTW, I got an e-mail saying Fill Centers USA is closing!! I guess the docs that did fills for them will still do fills, just no middle man.
The last 2 days I have done nothing but sleep! So I'm not sure what has been going on. But I include you all in my prayers nightly. Those who have issues with weight, employment, family, pets or just plain life's bumps, I pray that everything works out for you.
Everyone have a fantabulous day!

Glad to hear you are doing well and the other thing about your choice is you won't have to be tethered to fills, I'm sure you will do well. . .
Have a good recovery. . .

Thank you ladies for your well wishes. I will be heading back to NC on Monday. I could have gone back on the red eye Sunday, but I'm not fond of that flight!
I just got back from a walk to Walmart. It is NOT just around the corner! I thought of getting a cab back, but I walked. I thought I would be at the clinic for 4 days and hotel one, so I brought jammies and only a couple changes of regular clothes. So I got 2 more tshirts and another pair of loose shorts. I think it cost me $25.
Time to power down.
