Good Morning Shirley and all my OFF Family,
I am definitely keeping Nancy B on my prayer list for a while.

I am hanging out here for a while, because the electricians have to work in the basement to get the dryer in the other apartment working right.  It keeps blowing fuses, and did not work right for me when I lived there.  The landlady called an electrician who figured out the problem, and they came today and looked at it, and said they would be back in a little while.

So, depending on what time they are done, I plan to get to my noon AA meeting.  Then, tonight, I am heading to church.  A group of women are starting a Christ centered addiction support group for women, and we will be discussing the format tonight.  I am looking forward to that.  I will not stop participating in AA.  I will simply add this group to my circle of support.

Not much else going on here.  Might try to empty a box or two as well.

Love to all of you wonderful people.

Hugs,
Trish

Good morning, my OFF sistas!

I don't want to seem insensitive to the worries and troubles going on here today, but I do want to share some WONDERFUL news with you all:

I MADE IT TO ONEDERLAND TODAY!!!

Got on the scale this morning and it said 199.8!  Oh, just barely, but here I am at last!  I haven't been in onederland in 10 years.  It surely does feel good to be under 200 lbs again!

Trying to keep busy this week, so I can keep the blue funk at bay.  I sure am missing my DH more than usual thi****ch.  Hard to think about the possibility that he might be even later than next week getting home.  But, I can't do anything about crew change, so I might as well concentrate on other things.

I started painting the master bedroom here at the lakehouse yesterday.  Got all the wall prep and cutting in done on 3 of the walls.  The fourth wall is plastered in a butt-ugly wall paper, of course.  Man, that lady who lived here loved her wall paper.  Anyway, my plan is to finish painting the 3 walls I've prepped, and then I'll have to rearrange the furniture before I can start stripping the wall paper from the 4th wall.  That might have to wait until next time.  We'll see how much my shoulder can stand.

Want to finish up my painting this morning, and then go in to San Antonio to visit with Chris and Benny this afternoon.  Maybe do a little shopping. Maybe have dinner out with them.  Mostly I just want to see my little fella again!

Praying extra prayers for Nancy B and little Morgan today.  It is hard to accept what life throws at us sometimes.  It is hard to have faith in God when you feel like the rug has been pulled out from under you.  I don't have any words of wisdom.  I can only offer love and support and prayers.

Also, Eileen, you keep your chin up, girl!  Something will pop for you on the job market.  You're putting yourself out there, and someone will snatch you up!  You have a lot of good skills and work experience.  It will happen.  Just keep trying.

Praying that Carolyn's (Grammylew) revision surgery is going well for her in Mexico this week.  Hoping that Pat R. is having a ball on her vacation.  Last post I saw from her on FB had her in El Paso.

Monica, good work!  We're all proud of you!  Trish, you sound more chipper.  Glad to see you are getting back to your old self.  Connie, you are a marvel, doing all that laundry and cleaning in spite of your pain.  I am amazed by your strength of will!  Shirley G., you always have such an optimistic outlook on life.  Your posts are always so uplifting.  Laureen, I love your pics on FB in your Jets jersey!

Well, sistas, I need to start my painting now.  I love my daily visits here on OFF with you all.  I love having the priviledge of sharing your lives.  You are all an amazing group of strong, resilient women.  I count myself as blessed to know you.

Love you all!

Vicki, good for you, I remember how that felt!
Please I also love to hear everyones good news, I need to hear it. I am fighting to stay afloat right now & all good news helps. When Nancy B. hears her news & hope & pray it's wonderful! Same for Eileen on the job front & everyone else that is waiting for anything. also for Caroline, that her surgery is an easy & successful one. If I missed anyone please forgive me, I pray for you all everyday!
