Good Morning Off    Cold but beautiful day here in my part of the world.  Makes me suspect  autumn is on the way!!

Once again its be a while since I posted  but I do read most days   Just get busy with things.  I am still looking for a job.  I soon need to decide if I am going to continue specialized foster care or not>  I havent had kids this summer and its been nice  but I sure miss the little  creatures.
Steve and I are hoping to get in a couple of autumn camping trips to a local little new camp ground close by here  and do some fishing.
Need to get a breakfast casserole in the oven for a church  thing.  Have a good day everyone.  I hope you all receive a blessing today!!!

Good Morning Jo and OFF Family to Follow:
Jo, I just realized, you may be interested in getting a pumpkin for Fall decorating.  My daughter is selling them on her yard.  She also had them at the Perry Festival.  Colleen, my daughter, lives on W. Britton Rd, right behind the McDonalds in Perry.  Her road is the right at the Rite Aid in Perry, off M52 as you come from Owosso.  She sells them for a friend with a farm, and she gets a percentage of the sales.  Last year they had their entire front yard covered with pumpkins.  Just thought I would let you know if you are in the market for a pumpkin.  I wish I were going out there for Halloween, coz my birthday is the day after, and I can't think of a better way to spend my birthday than with my Munchkins.  But, I did get to spend Mothers Day with them in May, so I did get spoiled then,

Anywho, enough about pumpkins in Perry.  LOL  I am slowly getting my apartment together.  Thanks to the help of friends, it is much better than it was when I first moved in upstairs.  It took me a month to get my apartment in order last time.  This time, I have only a few boxes left to empty.

Today, I will be heading to church.  Then, this afternoon, there is a picnic, but my back is hurting, so I may not make it there.  Depends on how I feel.  The cooler weather is exasperating my already sore back, and bringing on my fibromyalgia pain.  That is why I love Summer.  Less pain.

My Phillies clinched the N.L. East title.  Congrats to the Detroit Tiger fans on their A,L, Central title.  My daughter would like a Phillies/Tigers World Series.  She has become a Tigers fan too, living in Michigan for 10 years,

Hugs,
Trish

Trish, I can tell from your post how much better you feel getting more settled and most of those boxes emptied out! Moving itself is not fun, but it sounds like your apartment will be wonderful for you.

Good Sunday morning OFF!

Well, Benny and I have survived another day together!  He is being such a good boy for Mimi!  But I had forgotten how much energy it takes to run after a toddler all day long.  I have loved spending so much time with him, but I have to confess, I'll be glad when my daughter gets here this afternoon.

I do think this weekend has been very good for my daughter and her mental health.  She really needed a break from all the responsibilty--just for a couple of days.  It is my hope and prayer that she will come back refreshed and happier.

The good news is that it RAINED here yesterday.  I mean a real rain--not just a drizzle or a small shower.  I  sure hope it rains again today.  We still have a chance of rain through tomorrow.

Talked to my DH yesterday and the bad news is that it's likely that his crew change will be delayed by a few days.  Darn it.  It's not certain yet, but I'm expecting it to happen.  I am so ready for that man to retire!

Well, Benny needs his breakfast.  Have a blessed Sunday everyone!

Love you all!

What a wonderful thing to do for your daughter and for Benny!   I can't imagine having a young child and not having a 'reprieve' every once in a while, and Benny will benefit in his socialization skills when he spends time with people other than his parents.  Kudos to you.

Vickie...I think it is great that you are giving your daughter a break. I did that quite often with my daughters as well. They always appreciated those times.
Now of course I understand the exhaustion of a child around. Now that I live with mine I totally understand your being worn out!!

Good morning Jo and everyone...

Where is everyone....seems especially quiet today.

I am just doing a quick check in myself. Waiting to watch my VIKINGS play!!! I really miss the group I hung out with in MN when it comes to the Vikings Games....we had such a great time. We played games and won prizes and made it so much fun.....makes me really sad.

Have a great day!!   Prayers for all in need.

Love and hugs to all....connie d

Hi Jo and my OFF family:

I'm switching between Bears and White Sox games; Bears are losing to the Saints 16-13, so it's still close; White Sox are winning 3-0 but their season is toast ... they've tanked the last few games.

Congrats to the Phillies for clinching and of course to the Tigers. I'm becoming a Brewer fan right now (someone else to cheer for). Fun team to watch; doesn't mean they'll win, but it's a team that hasn't won anything ever.

I had something strange going on with my body last night ... like cramps in my lower regions but nothing would move. Really bad ... don't know what was going on. Passed some mucus-like stuff and had some chills, but when I got home, I took my temp and didn't have a fever. Then I passed some gas (sorry, I know TMI, but really is anything TMI on this board?) and had some peppermint tea and felt OK.

Anyway, back to work tonight. Looks like rain, calls for rain, but it has been like that for the past few days and hasn't happened. Still in the high 80s here. Body feels like rain, too.

Have a good day ... I need to get in the shower.

Good afternoon Jo and OFF family, I'm bringing up the rear again! LOL

Went to church, got home and we were without power. I was starving and ready to eat the kitchen sink...you all know how that feels right? Yep!

So ended up at Big Boy, Hubby had the buffet and I ordered the pot roast. I even snuck a few bites of food from hubby's plate til my food came.
Got home and the power still wasn't on, sat outside in the sunshine and read my book til the power came on. Hubby was anxious to watch his Detroit Lions football game. All was well, when the power came on Detroit was a head. Don't know how the game ended...had to come to work.

Hugs and prayers for all in need. Debbie
