Sleepy Saturday What's Up?
Good morning, everyone!
I'd better post quick while Benny is still asleep this morning. I am keeping him for the weekend. Last night was his first night here without his Mommy. He did very well, but he sure did wear this ol' Mimi out! However, that little angel slept all night for me, which is a miracle, because his MOMMY never did that! LOL!
Glad to read all the posts from yesterday. Caroline, best of luck with your surgery and I'll be praying for you. Shirley, glad you are back and that your surgery was a success. Trish, glad you are getting out for the day! And wow, George Clooney? That would have been fun!
Y'all pray for me that I can keep up with Benny all day today. After sleeping all night, he's bound to be a bundle of energy today. But oh, thank the good Lord, that I can get up and down off the floor with him now and run after him all day long! WLS gave me back my mobility and my life! :)

Well, my team's officially out of any postseason (although I knew that a couple weeks ago) ... the official part happened last night when the Tigers clinched. Oh well, the White Sox didn't play well. Hope your Phillies can do better.
I had such a busy day yesterday and was so tired and in so much pain ... and then I couldn't sleep. I slept until about 5:30 a.m., got up to go to the bathroom, slept again for about another hour, then couldn't sleep again ... finally got up and read for awhile, hoping to sleep, but gave up. So I've been up, made a pot of coffee instead of just cups from my Keurig.
Well, after my shopping yesterday, I went out to dinner with my cat lady Patricia. We had Mexican food (she had just one spinach enchilada, I had fajitas) ... took most of my food home. Then we went to Walmart (she needed cat food, I needed food), then home to my place so she could see Juliette; then I drove her home. I was tired and in pain. I put my legs up, iced my back and knee, felt a little better, was tired, but for some reason couldn't stay asleep. Guess I was a little too wired.
So back to work tonight. I'll have to try to take a nap. I'm already tired. Have a good day.

Good afternoon Trish and OFF family, Happy Saturday and it's my first weekend working, actually on Monday I started on my own and loving it.
So this morning my hubby comes into the BR around 0900..."are you going to sleep all day?" Ugh! So I got up and started drinking my coffee to put some MOJO in my system!...Hubby brings out his riding lawn mower and I say to myself "crap"...gotta get going and get my riding lawn mower out so I put on my sweats and brought out 2 pillows for the ride, one for my butt and one for my back. Hubby says "what are you doing'? I told him I was going to ride the other mower. He laughed and said, no it's time for breakfast. So he made breakfast then we went out to the garage sale we went to last week to see if he still had the outside furniture, a nice table and 4 chairs. It was still there and I asked the man if he'd take $40.00 and he said yes... I love dickering! Then ended up getting 2 bags of clothes for my SD and a baby swing for her the kind you hang up in the tree.
Then came home and put the swimming pool away or almost away, flip it over to dry and get the last bit of water out. Then I hit the hot tub to read for a little bit. Before I knew it...it was time to go to work. I brought in 2 bags of books I've read for the gal who works days and she was happy.
Make her happy and keeping my house clean from clutter. I never re-read books, I just give them away.
