 Good Morning OFF Family
I am doing better today, thank God and your prayers.  I appreciate your love and support.  My fever is only in the evenings, and is getting better each day.

Today, I have a podiatrist appointment, and then I am going to my AA meeting at noon.  I did make a meeting yesterday as well.  That helps me tremendously.  I also got spare keys made for my apartment.  I give my kids and sisters keys in case of an emergency.

I hope to get some unpacking done this afternoon, as I am feeling better, and don't have the pain in my leg like I did earlier this week.

Hope everyone has a blessed day.

Hugs,
Trish

good morning Trish...hope you're feeling better soon.

  I haven't been on for a while....just a quick update.
Flooding here is over, but the devastation remains.  There has been MILLIONS of $ in damage and we are all cringing at the thought of more rain or winter's snow.
Some kids are back in school...some are still closed. My family is fine...no damage, but I'm in school each day and many of our students lost everything.  Its sad...and when I drive thru town it looks like a war zone.
SO ...I'm gettting ready for my school day today...then home...hoping to maybe get to Ithaca this week end for some much needed R & R.
Have a great day all...please keep Southern NY in your prayers as the clean up here continues, and will take a very long long time.

 Marcy,
So sorry the flooding was so bad for your area.  We got hit here in PA as well.  Some people up river were hit badly, and the Susquehanna was flooding throughout PA.

Good to hear from you.

Hugs,
Trish

Trish,

So thrilled to read that you are feeling better, just don't overdo, ok. . .

I'm here at work, thanking God that the Jets have an afternoon game on Sunday, as going to the gym 4 days in a row is tough, but I'm seeing results and so that makes me feel like it's all worthwhile. . .anyway, today we have a bunch of folks in from our home office (NJ) here, so it should be hopping, but we also have a luncheon where we are going to have Sushi and that I am happy about.  After work it's my AA meeting, that's about it. . .

Wishing you all a wonderful day and the peace and strength to get through it!

Hugs, Laureen

Morning all, sober 319 days and so proud of me.
Yesterdays visit to VA productive. Hubby getting new dentures and the VA is fixing the broken ones they made. Ortho doctor said replaced hip is very good for 17 yrs old. Other hip looks good too. Doctor put in consult to see RA doctor since Ankylosing Spondylitis is an auto-immune disease. Shocked that this condition has been dismissed in the past. X-rays show the progress of disease right there in black and white.Very thankful for chiropracters films and diagnosis. The pain he lives with is caused by the bones fused together and then translate to the muscles, etc. Called his PCP and requested blood tests to be done that specify for AS. Hoping there are meds out there to help with the pain other than vicodin. Keeping active also acts to stop the progression of the condition.
I see my PT this morning. Still having vertigo when laying down and with sudden head movements. Really worked out in the hot tub already, doing the leg and balance exercises. The 5 lb leg weights are interesting.Trying hard not to overdo.
Yoda is off to the groomers, she picked him up at 8. He will look so good and feel better too with all that hair gone.Yoda loves to go off with her.
Hoping all are doing well. Grateful for you all in my life.

Morning OFF family!!

Well I just got back from my dr appointment and all went well...have to wait for the results to come back on pap test though. Dr said thinks looked good there though...I worry about that area because of my mom and sister having cancer of the vulva and I am scared to death of me getting it!!! My BP was 122/68 and my weight was 178.4 on her scale. She said I lost alot of weight since last year...LOL oh yeah!!! I told her I was now wearing a size 12 and haven't worn that size since 1970!!! She said congrats to me and shook my hand!!!

Am now off the cymbalta and starting to feel more like myself already!! Just praying that the pain I had before I went on it doesn't come back again!! That was more than I could take!!!

It sure is cold here today! 51* and rain. BRRRR!!!! I am off work today but getting paid for it...I took a personnal day. Found out I am able to take 2 per year one every six months!! Nice they share that info huh?! So I took one for today!!!! I am also off saturday and FINALLY it will be nice!!! Not much money to do anything but will figure out something to do!! There is a carnaval in the next town that is a good one, also a couple towns over there is a race track that we want to check out. SOOOO we need to figure out which one we want to do...carnival or track....hmmmm.

Rick talked to his mom last night and she said his step dad needs $500 by the end of the month or he goes to jail...LMAO let him go!!!!!!!!! We both don't give a rats behind what happens to that jerk!!!! If he worked like a real man he wouldn't be in that situation!!! And NO I am not talking to Ricks mom nor am I seeing her either. I have nothing to do with her since she did what she did to him several weeks ago. I am done with her!!! If he wants to talk to her that his choice. I give up. He treats her like crap and she likes it I guess I stay out of it. I miss seeing Anthony though.

Not sure if I mentioned the other night that the idiots above us dumped dirty water over the balcony AGAIN!! All over my rose bush and mums. Mainly on my rose bush. The leaves are now turning yellow. Not sure what was in tha****er but anyhow the landlord called her or left a message for her and not sure what was sad but it sure was quiet last night!!!!! No stomping of the feet when they walked around and no loud music no nothing!!! Was nice for a change!!!! Wonder what was said to them?! And it sure would be nice to get new steaks that she ruined a couple weeks ago!!!! And we wonder how long this quiet will last?

Well better get going here and vac the carpet and get some cleaning done on my day off...have a great day!!!

Prayers and thoughts for those that need them!!!

HUGS

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

So glad to have my weekend! Last night was a bear at work. Not only did I have two sports sections to do, but after 10 p.m., we had server slowdown ... took forever to get pages done because the servers were forever saving things and also crashing software. It was aggravating. I am extremely vocal and emotional; that was one way of dealing with it. Then there is the silent type. One of my coworkers never said a word. She said she could either be quiet or scream and she decided to be quiet. Sorry, I think it's better to let it out. Healthier.

So I didn't get home until 1:30 a.m. and didn't get to sleep until 4 a.m. I was pooped. Didn't get up til 11:30. I check my email, and there's a message from the short sale negotiator saying the lender wants $1300 from me to complete the sale. Well, I don't have that; I don't even have $600 to get my cracked tooth fixed. So I let them know. If they're going to foreclose on the condo, well, so be it.

Not much else going on. I don't plan to do much today. I'm way past pooped. I'm so tired I can't move. It's pleasantly coolish today, just 76 degrees. It was cloudy so I was allowed to sleep late (and the landscapers didn't start until after 1 p.m.).

Trish, glad you are feeling better. Have a good day, everyone.

Good afternoon Trish and everyone....

Nothing much happening here. Still sick...my throat really hurts bad. I was hoping to go to the doctor today but no one was available for Grace. Nic had to work early and Grace's dad is sick too. This is Jamie's busiest day at work so she couldn't get away either. Oh well....maybe tomorrow!!

The cleaning lady came today...I am so happy to have her here. My life is much easier without me doing all the work. I don't mind cleaning but my body/ lungs can't deal with it. She did an awesome job today!!

Wishing you all a really nice day. Prayers as always for those in need.

Love and hugs for all.....connie d

Good evening Trish and OFF family, Trish...glad you are feeling better, making meetings and just tackling box's one or two at a time! I'm cheering you on!

Well today I did my 4 mile walk in the crisp cool morning. Scared a deer hiding in the ditch around 3 miles of walking, pretty sight to behold watching the deer jump out and bound across the field. Started my doggies too! LOL...okay it startled me too!

I have tomorrow off so I'm planning on getting a mani and pedi and my oil changed in my car.

I'm sitting here at my desk waiting for 2 admits to arrive, eating my OIKOS blueberry yogurt and I added half of a banana in it. Guess what? I'm FULL!
I've been drinking diet Snapples Peach tea and my hubby loves it too. Ugh...I guess I have to share with my honey.

So how we doing Mindful Eaters? Is it getting easier to not finish your food and to leave 3 bites? Are you sitting down and enjoying the taste of your food? Is the TV off when you eat? I find I'm doing much better with my eating changing shifts. I do sit up for about half an hour when I get home to de-stress but I make sure I have fresh fruit or a glass of milk when I sit down so I don't get up and reach for stuff I don't need.

Take care and hugs and prayers for those in need. I'll go back and read the other posts to see all the happenings! Debbie...bringing up the rear again!
