MONDAY MONDAY
Oh, Nan, you are always so sweet! Thanks!
BTW, you asked me the other day how far I am from Killeen. Actually, it's quite a ways from Nacogdoches. But if you ever come down to visit your kids, you let me know! Killeen is not that far from Waco where my daughter lives. Maybe we can arrange a meeting.
Always praying for little Morgan and your whole family.

Hi Shirley and my OFF family:
Already Monday afternoon. I just got off the phone with a college friend Brenda ... don't hear from her often anymore, but it's always great when I do. She and her husband are celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary today ... wow, I'm in awe of people that are married that long. Her hubby also had a stroke eight years ago today; she works at a newspaper also and then comes home and takes care of him (he no longer works).
Anyway, good to hear from her and see how things are in her neck of the woods. Funny, but she works for the company that owns the newspaper that I first worked for (it's no longer the same newspaper, but it's the same group).
Not a whole lot going on here otherwise; I called back a woman who called me about a job, but it's not what I thought it was. It would be only a "as needed" job, so not for me. And the money wouldn't be enough either So that's that, and I keep looking.
Laureen, we are interested in your perspective on 9/11; you were closest to the area.
Connie and Vickie, glad you are feeling better; Trish, keep resting your leg. Hope everyone else is OK.
Well, have a good day.
