9/11 is my Grand dog Sookie's birthday. She will be 2 years old tomorrow. My daughter is going to make it a wonderful day for her and of course Grandma will be involved. OH JOY! I hope Laura gets a boyfriend soon!
I hope that you are all doing well. Some extra warmth to Nancy....

*hugs the other side of the continent* Here in Niagara, it is a beautiful night, clear skies, lots of stars and that full moon. Derek is now home from his bouncer job at the club and it sounds like the loonies were all out tonight.
Little "Ruby Tuesday" followed him instead...all 5 1/2 inches of her, and DEMANDED to be fed. We heated some catmilk and soaked kitty kibble in it but she drank just the milk..at eight weeks old, she still refuses solids.
Julie, I so understand the melancholy involved in going through your Mom's things..you still smell her scent and you touch the things that she touched... having to choose what to keep and what to say goodbye to, that's hard at times. I'm still struggling with legal and financial stuff...if only some people did the jobs they're supposed to do!
My biopsy went without any great problems ...The doctor and his assistant were really kind and explained everything which was greatly appreciated...and I should find out the results by mid-week. Then I can make plans and adjust my daybook if necessary.
I've got the flyer created and all invitations sent out for our Sept. BPW dinner meeting..the speaker is Timea Nagy, a survivor of forced Human Trafficking..she is now a great speaker and author of "Walk My Way".
Also, all paperwork and instruction have been sent to all of my new clients for the LifePath Groups that begin this coming week, one on Wednesdays and one on Fridays.
As well, I've managed to organize the meeting of our BPW group with the visiting President of BPW Moscow, Russia next week.
Yesterday, I passed my written and oral Certification update exam with 100% so that feels good to have that done.
My Sunday afternoon will be spent at a very spiritual site of a very old tree known as the "Comfort Maple"- the oldest Sugar Maple in Canada-http://www.mapleleavesforever.com/comfortmaple.asp
for an event called "Healing of the Heart". Hopefully, the weather will co-operate.
I send healing energy for comfort, courage and tenacity to all those affected by the terrible tragedy of Sept 11th- Americans, Canadians and also those of other countries who perished that terrible day. Please fill your hearts with love and compassion for those who suffered rather than choosing anger and hatred to those responsible which serves no purpose and adds to the negative energy which attracts even more.
Blessings,
Nancy B
I went immediately to your web site as per your post a couple of days ago, how lovely to see what your vocation is,
I have followed metaphysics for many years and am pleased to be a friend of yours via this Forum.
Blessings and love, Nancy ... Samantha
Hoping that your results are negative, I think your positive spirit should chase away anything evil in your body. . .

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Remembering the events of 10 years ago. Hard to believe what happened and how it touched all our lives. Looking back on history, realizing how much human conflict has been caused by beliefs in a GOD. A God should bring comfort and peace to humans and yet HIS/HER presence does cause pain, made by man in his mind and actions. Love & hate are such intertwined emotions...wishing love was the stronger. Missing my children and Gkids this morning. A quick kiss and hugs so strong would fill my needs of life right now. May this day be good for you all as your journey on earth moves on.
Hugs, Monica
Glad to hear you are making progress on that painful task for going through your Mom's belongings. I know that will be painful when it comes time for my sister and I to do that.
I am up early, getting up early has become a habit of mine. In today's case, I got up to take my antibiotic. It turns out, I have cellulitis in my leg. I have had it before, and I called the doctor on call for my PCP, and he called in an antibiotic. It is on my shin, and I have had it before there. I plan on calling my family doc tomorrow for an appointment to check it out. The doc on call asked if I wanted to go to the ER, but I said I could wait to see my doc as long as I had the antibiotic.
Yesterday's conference at church was awesome. We really got into God's Word, and I was really challenged in my walk with Him. I was blessed.
Today has me resting my leg, and keeping it elevated. Not exactly what I had planned. My biggest challenge is to decide which game to DVR, the Phillies game which starts at 2:00 or the Eagles game which starts at 1:00. I think I will record the baseball game, and watch the Eagles live, since it is opening day of the season,
Hope everyone has a blessed day.
Hugs,
Trish

Cellulitis is an infection of the tissue beneath the skin. It is usually caused by stapholo****us or strepo****us bacteria. It normally shows up on an open wound, but in my case it is just an infection that develops just beneath the skin's surface. I have had it before. I have terrible circulation in my legs. It is dangerous, because the infection can spread to the muscle and bone, and if it is in an extremity, there is the risk of gangrene, and then losing the toes, or foot. In my case, it is on the shin area of my left leg. The foot I have to wear the boot on is my right foot. So, today, I am just resting the legs and keeping them elevated.
Not good for my unpacking, but what can I do but follow doctor's orders.
Hugs,
Trish
