Vickie, I too can't weigh everyday; it drives me crazy.  But I keep trudging along.  It's a nice surpise to see the scale go down when I don't weight so often.  Went for my 6 month checkup on Wednesday and elated to see that the doctor's scale said I had lost 5 more pounds than I thought I had.  Yeah for me!  Can hardly wait to get to Onederland, too!  You're doing great!!!

Whatca doing in Hilltop?  That is such a pretty area.

Hang in there Vicki. I got stuck at that weight too. It seemed like forever. I threatened to shave my head to see if the scale would move.Bald Is Beautiful Up your protein and water to see if that helps.

Vickie....don't let that stupid scale have control over you. You are working out and doing everything right. The number will change....been there done that myself!!  Be good to yourself!!

Hope your cold is just allergies. I thought mine was allergies too however, now I am leaning more towards a darn cold. My cough is awful and I am getting more congested. I probably should have seen my doctor today as I have COPD and Asthma which doesn't help matters.  Oh well....old and stubborn me!!
Hope you feel better soon.

Love ya....hugs sweetie....connie d

Morning all, I feel so much better today. Not sure why, but I am glad. Maybe because I finally went to the Doctor & she is trying to help me. I am so not a Doctor person. I always felt I was wasting her time. She makes me feel like I matter, & my complaints are real.

Today I want to make broccoli cheese soup, hunt up a birthday present I somehow misplaced, work in my garden & finally clean my house. Haven't felt this energtic all summer. I am hoping this may mean good news about Morgan. I know I talk about her all the time & please forgive me. We made a deal 3 years ago, whoever got to Heaven first would wait at the gate for the other. She wants to make quads out of clouds & ride forever. Ok I am rambling, Have a wonderful weekend all!!!

 Good Morning Nancy,
You don't need to apologize for discussing Morgan.  She is precious to you, and therefore, precious to us.  I love to hear about everyone's children and grandchildren, and I talk about mine all the time too.

Glad you are feeling better.

Hugs,
Trish

Thank you Trish, we all have our trials, don't we. You would think at my age they would be done, or at least I would forget them!
