On the loser's bench

Hello, OFF friends,

I have been kind of AWOL since my surgery.  I did not realize I would be so fatigued.  I have done well, very little pain, very little nausea.  I had my one week checkup and I had lost 10 pounds.  The surgeon thought I was doing fine.  I got to advance my diet to pureed.  I have had egg, cottage cheese and tuna and kept it down fine.  Woohoo!

So I thought I would let y'all know I am in the land of the living and officially on the loser's bench!

 Hi Sharon,
Welcome to the Losers Bench.  You sound like you are right on track.  When I was on pureed foods, I loved refried beans with some melted cheddar cheese on it.  Just a suggestion.

Remember to sip, sip, sip and walk, walk, walk.

Hugs,
Trish

Sharon,

Welcome to the Loser's Bench, where we are always able to make room for one more. . .

Hope you remembered to take before photo and measurements, if not, then do it as soon as you can, this way you have a good way to monitor yourself in between clothes sizes (lol). ..

Hugs, Laureen

So happy for you, Sharon!  I had the fatigue, too.  I took a nap every day for the first 2 months.  It's okay to baby yourself a little bit!

Keep checking in!  We all care and want to hear how you're doing!

Hey Girl! It's just been two weeks. I had my thigh lift just over 2 weeks ago and I'm just starting to feel human again. Getting that protein in should help your energy level. You're body is still  adjusting to the new you. May you feel better and better each day. At my one week checkup I had actually GAINED two pounds!!!I hadn't lost all of the fluid weight yet. Then it started to drop.
