I am saved!

  Yep!  September 19, no if ands or buts about it! 
My education is the 14th and also my pre-op for hospital and bloodwork.    Then the next day my pre-op exam from my doctor.  And surgery on Monday the 19th of Sept. 
I do not want to go into the sticky problems I have had to deal with these last 2 weeks    Suffice it to say I had to agree to spend my first day after surgery in the ICU
where they could monitor me closely

Congrats ... Sept. 19 is my brother's birthday ... it's now your rebirthday.

Congrats Sam on getting a date.  Take earplugs to the hospital as they are noisey places and you don't get a lot of sleep.  I'll be almost 7 weeks out on the 19th.  Good luck on your liquid preop diet.

We've all made room here on the Loser's Bench and look forward to welcoming you to it real soon!  Take pictures, front, side profile and back if you're of a mind to, measurements and then do it each month on the anniversary of your surgery and what the scale may not tell you, those things will, as well as your closet, as your clothes start changing regularly. . .  all good stuff. . .
