Good morning, everyone!

Had a busy Monday, albeit Labour Day….two long meetings.  And now, it seems that my FORMER clients have difficulty disbanding and they request

a “REINFORCEMENT SUPPORT GROUP MEETING”  on a monthly basis. They say that daily life can get them sidetracked from their new way of behavior…you know how it goes.  So it looks like I will be facilitating a support group for all my past clients…wow.

The bruising from my allergy tests is finally gone from my arm, no big deal but it looked awful *s*. I survived just fine.

My website will be launched this afternoon if you care to visit.  I do Spiritual Energy work, LifePath Coaching and Spiritual Mandala Artwork, just to caution you…this is NOT religious at all..  Some may not accept this…but I accept that everyone has their opinions and different perspectives. http://www.metaphysicalconsulting.ca/default.asp Today, I continue to complete my website...the little details.  My webmaster has been away on vacation and is behind so it’s not completely done yet. Also, today, I will drive to Port Dalhousie down at the edge of Lake Ontario to interview a possible client for one of my LifePath groups starting next week. I do feel that she will be a challenge -  she actually sent me an email, correcting a typo that I’d missed! The “Talking Stick” is almost completed, I will need it *s* Been having “fun” hand-feeding a baby kitten, “RubyTuesday”, a tiny fragile long-haired kitten, all white....she is 6 weeks old and still refuses to eat solid food….she still tries to nurse on every warm body she can find (including males & other babies)….her mother was killed by coyotes the other day and her siblings are all crunching on solid food, but not Ruby.  As adorable and beautiful as she is, I’m beginning to suspect that Ruby Tuesday is “two French fries short of a Happy Meal”!  These midnight, 2 am, four am, 6 am feedings are getting “old” fast! (JB feeds her during the day) Now I can get to the FEED store and buy dehydrated CAT MILK….they’ve been closed all weekend. Have a wonderful Tuesday, everyone *sending healing energy to all* Nancy B

Good morning Nancy B and Shirley, plus all to follow:

Back to school here in Michigan -- woo hoo!  Bet there are a lot of "happy" parents, and probably kids too.

I am looking forward to getting back to work today.  Going in early as I have a foot doctor appt. at 11 a.m.  Been up since 5:30.    My foot seems "pinker" than the left one, so will bring that to his attention.  The toes look good.

Feeling a little better this morning about the "guy" thing.  Whatever happens - happens.  It's his loss of a sweet, loving lady.     There's someone out there.....

Time to get some breakfast.   Have a great day and be especially thankful that God allowed you to open your beautiful eyes on this lovely morning.

Hugs,
Pat R.

Good morning Nancy, Shirley, and all to follow,

Had a good day yesterday. Went out and about with friends after doing 3 loads of laundry.  I didn't wear my brace and I'm sorry I did it. Pain started within the hour and we were out and about for 4 hours. Silly me. I guess I still need to wear it for a while yet.

Must set up my meds and pack today. Tomorrow we are leaving for Florida. Still have some paperwork to do as well. Can't do too much yet as everyone is still  sleeping. Maryann's brother, Bill, should be getting up soon. He teaches in a city about 45 minutes from here.

Got my ears pierced 2 weeks ago but I don't like the earrings in at night. They said to wear them for 6 weeks to make sure they are healed before changing to a different pair. Wish they were flat rather than rounded.

Everyone have a wonderful day.  Will check back later.

Mag,

When you can change earrings, try some lever backs. They are more comfortable and don't accidently fall out.

Good mornin' ya'll.
Nancy, I'll be checking out your website. Ruby Tuesday sounds like she has your number! I hope you can convince her to try dry food soon.
This morning we are waiting for our grandson to come pick up his school project that is due today. My DH and I have a bet on whether he comes to get it, or if he calls at 7:30 to say he forgot, can I bring it to the school for him. His brother used to do that, so far this one never has, and he is a senior.
My DH and I have our regular twice a year dentist check up and cleaning this morning. Then we will stop at the PO so I can mail my aunt's genealogy books back to her and the cute tote I got for my Sis from a Thirty-One party. Then home to drop my DH. He and our son are taking our generator to New Bern to be repaired. Each hurricane season we say we'll do that, every season we don't. After having to rent one this year, my DH is determined to get it done.
But we don't have a truck. I will be going to SC for yet another fill!! The one last Tuesday is non existant! It felt pretty good at the time! The problem is, once you have been over full so you can't swollow your own spit, you are gun shy! Hopefully, this one will be perfect. I haven't had a good fill in 2 years.
Thursday, our daughter comes. She and I will drive to SC on Friday to watch her son (our grandson) play football. Then we will bring him here for the weekend. Take him back Sunday and our daughter flies home on Monday. They are gonna be spending lots of $ on air fare. And all of them will add lots to their frequent flier miles. Except our granddaughter. She has no desire to fly out here to see her brother. She is perfectly happy being an 'only child', for this school year!
Our other grandson's 'puppy' turns 1 year old on Sunday, 9-11. Thus her name Liberty. She is the one who 'talks' to us. She thinks she can still climb up in our lap like she did months ago. But now she is huge. But she is so lovable and adorable, I hate to break it to her that she is now too big. Of course, our grandson who is 6'3" and
has shoulders like a football player with shoulder pads, still lets her climb into his lap!!!
BTW, I lost the bet, our grandson just came and got his project!
I seem to be very chatty this morning. And probably 10 people have posted since I started this, since I seem to keep getting interrupted. I hope everyone is safe and happy. Hopefully no one is in trouble from fires or wind or rising waters. I am thinking of you all.
Everyone have a fantabulous day!!

Morning all. Sober 310 days and so proud of me.
EL grumpo is up and not excited to go to chiropracter. He has spent almost all day in bed since Saturday with pain and stiffness and a lousy attitude. We know it will hurt getting adjustments to "get him straight".  Prayers please.
Campground is empty again. Back to normal. Need advice on how to TRAIN Yoda NOT to lunge at other dogs. He is worse instead of better around other dogs. Most times out on leash he is wonderful. We use the clicker to call and direct him.  We pull him close as other dogs approach. We really love to go to the dog park as he loves to run and we love to socialize. Need to get a handle on this.

Hi Nancy,
Ruby Tuesday sounds like a kitten I rescued which I had to give baby food to for a while.  I got it at Petsmart and mixed with kitten formula to spoon feed for a while.  Then she graduated to soft cat food.

Today is back to school for friends here in PA.  I am so glad I retired from teaching last year.  I don't miss it at all.  I have been being bad about wearing my boot, and regretting it.

Today I have three appointments.  One is my ENT doc for my sinuses.  One is an intake appointment at a mental health agency and one is my WLS surgeon for my five year check up.  I have to rewrite my food log for the past couple days, because I packed my food journal and can't find it.

Hope everyone in Michigan has a good first day of school as well.  My daughter is a teacher in Morrice, and it is her first day with students.  She is a reading specialist at Morrice Elementary.  She is also a part time professor at Lansing Community College.  So proud of her.

Have a great day.

Hugs,
Trish

Good Morning Nancy, OFFr's,

I will check out your website for sure!  As for your Ruby Tuesday, when I first got Roxie (she was almost 3 years old) was severely underweight, as she had been spayed in the SPCA, as well as developed kennel cough, she had diareahea and was just a mess and when I would feed her, she would not take the food readily and I was cooking chicken and brown rice for her, so I would hand feed her, well it was not long before I had her on a good dog food and she still preferred hand feeding. . . which I had no real time for, my roommate asked me if I thought to pu****er in it and perhaps to moisten it, well it worked and to this day I just put a cup of water in her dry food and she laps it up and eats her food, problem solved. . .  not sure that would work with Ruby, but you never know. . .  she sounds like a beautiful kitty.

I had a very busy weekend, had my support group on Saturday, from there I stopped in at a friend's party for her 2 year old, then home where I packed a bag and took the drive down to my son's shore house, where I hung and played with the kids until Sunday late afternoon, when I drove home, met up with my friend, Owen, went for su****hen home, hung out for a bit and went to sleep, woke up yesterday and got busy cleaning, doing laundry, food prep, took a ride to meet a sponsee at a picnic that her halfway house had in a nice State Park in Delaware, drove home, made a pot of chili, watched some television and was talking to a friend of mine when I realized that I had a speaking commitment at 8 o'clock and the time was 7:32, I hightailed it out the door and got there just on time, did what I was there for, after the meeting I went home and to bed, however, I woke up this morning at about 2:40 and could not go back to sleep, got up at 4:30, dressed for the gym, packed my food and out the door. . .  so here I am at work, I should be slumped over my desk by noon, I'm thinking tonight is going to be an early one. . .

Wishing you all a good day and the peace and strength to get through the challenges that might be presented to you during the course of this day!

Hugs, Laureen
