Good morning Nancy and everyone.....

A quiet morning....slept until almost 9...it felt great!
Nothing much planned today but to maybe go for a walk and definitely use the Elliptical.

Nancy....I hope you procedure goes well. I will be thinking and praying for you.

Karen C....glad each day is getting a little easier. Still praying for you!

Monica....299....that is so wonderful!!  Congrats!

Worrying about so many of you with all the violent weather. I will keep praying no one is harmed. Material things can be replaced....although the repair for damage is costly.

Have a wonderful day everyone. Prayers continue for those in need. So glad little Morgan is home!!!

Love and hugs to all....connie d

Hi Nancy and my OFF family:

I had some issues getting online this morning ... my network was down and I had to reboot. Fortunately, I now know how to do that. It took a few tries, but I'm now back. Then I was applying for a couple of jobs. I need to get in the shower and get moving ...have to be at work at 3. I'll probably stop and pick up lunch on the way in.

Nancy, Ferdinand sounds like a cutie ... so friendly, wants to give love to everyone. And they say cats aren't friendly.

I need a talking stick ... there are a few people I'd use it on ...

Well, need to get going. Hope everyone in the path of Irene will stay safe. I'm fortunately out of the path of the hurricanes. It's cloudless, sunny and 92 degrees here. No rain forecasted.

Have a good day.

 Hi Nancy,
I guess Ill bring up the rear today, I am off getting ready to go into wok to work my little 4 hours today and tomorrow. I dont even know if it is worth the effort any more to just work 8 hous a week. or is it 4????
I am also recovering from the wedding. I still havent downloaded any pictures. Just havent had time.
My car got ransacked in our driveway the other day and my gps got stolen and my xm radio got stolen, and my car charger got taken. so I had to replace all that. Didnt even come to 200.00 dollars so I didnt even call the insurance company.
I am gearing up to going to Denver for 3 to 4 weeks cause I am having hernia surgery on the 26th of September. I have to be there on the 21st for labs. so I am flying out at night on the 20th. I baught a one way ticket to begin with cause I dont know the date Im comming back. So Ill judge it accodingly. I didnt want to find a surgeon down here. Id ather have my gastric bypass surgeon do the surgery. he knows what he is doing so Id rahter go back to him. But recovering at a friends house isnt the same as recovering at home. but ill manage. I wont have a car much when im there but ill manage.

Hi Nancy B and OFF family, Happy Saturday.

Still enjoying my new job at the hospital, I love being on a nursing unit once again. I feel like I'm home! Still coming in early to help out my old boss, volunteering my time. Trying to keep her above water!

So this morning I woke up and hubby and I went out for breakfast, then went grocery shopping. I was going to take a nap before working the 3-11 shift but noooooooo...miss energy here mowed the lawn along with hubby. Then sat in the hot tub to relax after wards. I'm sure I'll be able to fall to sleep as soon as I get home! I really enjoy working the 3-11 shift.

My Charlie cat is now in heaven. At least she is at peace. I fought hard to save her but it wasn't in the stars. I still have my 3 dogs and 2 outside cats. Charlie was special though...she thought she was a dog and had a great personality. I'm okay, I was able to love and hold Charlie before she passed. At the end she wasn't able to do anything and she wasn't eating or drinking. Yep, she is at Rainbow's Edge waiting for me one day....along with all my other fur babies.

Hugs and prayers for all in need. Especially those in the path of the hurricane. Strange weather all over. Debbie

Debbie, I am sorry about Charlie. I am happy you have come to terms with it already. Yes, she is at the rainbow bridge, & I believe our furbabies go to heaven too!
