Update from Karen C. . .
Jan, I feel much better this afternoon. I was concerned that maybe I wasn't draining ENOUGH. I called the nurse and she was reassuring. This surgery ended up taking 6 hours instead of the estimation of under 4. My lower body lift took about 3.5. Can't imagine having them done at the same time. I was hoping to have a breast reduction done with this surgery but neither surgeon, this time or the last, wanted me to be OUT that long.
I started out at 377 lbs and am 5 ft 3. Not sure if I still have my befores of the lower body lift but if I can find them I will share both with you. I will wait until I have "afters" of the thigh lift in a few weeks. I'll handle these pictures privately (as privately as the internet can be) through emails.

I started at 349 and now weigh between 176-179 (though I still have to drop the 5 pounds I gained over vacation). I'm 5' 4.5", so not much taller than you. I'm getting excited about it, but really nervous about what it will really look like.
Thanks for all your input.

I look at my thighs and shake my head. Only wish there were a magic wand that I could run over them and make them smooth and tight.

Take good care of yourself. Sending you a big aloha hug (very very gentle) but powerful in it's energy.
Aloha nui loa,
