Sweet Karen, may your surgery be quick and easy....no pain, lots to gain! I am sure Mike will take good care of you. Remember to be good to you. Follow instructions. Sip sip sip and eat that protein. I know after my PS I really needed to hydrate more than normal and up my protein intake to heal well. NO deep leg bends. Keep ahead of the post op pain. Gentle hugs, Monica

Hi Cindy,

I have been out of town. Just got back yesterday and tonight I am at our son's in Kirkland. Surgery is at 10:45 tomorrow morning just about 12 hours from now. Nervous? Yup. Anxious? Yup. Excited? You betcha! I'll wake up bandaged, stitched, and hopefully not feeling much pain at least for a while. The medial thigh lift will involve skin and fat removal, liposuction, and lots of stitches both inside and out. The incisions will go up the insides of both legs from the knees to the groin and then out to each side about 6 inches.

I'll have my daughter let someone know how it goes. Darn . . just lost part of this post. My followup appt is in one week. I'll be in the hospital overnight. We'll stay at ours son's for at least 2 or 3 days. If I feel pretty good by Friday we'll head home (220 miles****il Monday.

Keep me in your thoughts please. Take care.

Thank you everyone for your good wishes!

I did see a very special picture of you recently. Such a pretty hat and such a beautiful smile! San Diego must have been at least 5 years ago. My mom died in 2007 and I know it was before that. Wow. . .  "Once a roomie always a roomie!"
