Congrats on wearing normal shoes. I remember when I was able to do that, after months of sandals and the surgery boot. Now, I have the Cam Walker, and I am trying to be disciplined and wear it around the house. I have packing in the kitchen to do, and need to get my butt in gear now.

We had an incredible downpour last night. I am amazed at rain and the intensity it can have here.
Back from Yoda walk...he gives us such joy!!
Have to have labs today, see my PCP next week. Making a day trip to Bonita Springs next week to visit with John's brother and wife. Looking for suggestions on what to bring...the condo is theirs but they rent it out during the winter. Never been there and don't want to bring something for condo, but a little something for "them".
Still undecided about making a garment for new baby due in October. Guess I am afraid to start a project not finishing it. Also don't know how my hands and fingers will do with knitting or crocheting. Been so long since I did either.
Enjoy reading about our blessings that each of us have in our lives. We are lucky. Have a good Friday....hey Pat stretch those toes.

Happy Friday and Whhooooooooooo!!...going camping after work today.
So I'm loving my new position on the Nursing Unit. Love the staff and doctors and I'm learning lots of new things. Next week I will start on 3-11's and actually learn what I will be doing on a regular routine.
For camping, we will be going to Scottville and taking our 9 yr old granddaughter Rozzie. It should be a very active weekend for me as this child is on the go until she drops! LOL
We are taking our bikes and will be in the pool in the campground and also we will go to Lake Michigan. Rozzie is very friendly so she makes friends easily...so hopefully she will find a new best friend this weekend so grandma can sit for awhile and read her book!

So glad you like your new job. That is such a plus.
Camping? I give you a lot of credit. My daughter wanted to go camping once, when I was visiting her, and she knew to get me a hotel room near the campground. She had a key, so she could let herself in during the night when it started to rain. Motel 6 is my idea of roughing it.
