Just proves...
Just proves what I've thought for a while now.....most ppl on here don't even read my posts!
I mentioned in my post today that it is my 4 yr. surgery anniversary and not one person commented about it.
My feelings are hurt so don't look for me on here anymore.

Congrats, Pat, I'm sorry, I read right past it ... and I should remember when you had your surgery, too. Things piled up on me yesterday. Don't go away ... we really do read your posts. I read about your foot surgery and how you had a black toe. I was rushed out this morning and didn't get through all the posts today.
Pat...you know we all care about you!! I wasn't on here until late last night and just now this evening.
I just checked in and didn't read all the posts I was just in too much pain....still am and can hardly sit up so off to bed I go soon.
So sorry I missed your day...Happy Surgiversary!!!
Love and hugs....connie d

I'm so sorry that you're feeling this way Pat, I completely understand your frustration. I do have to claim though I don't know if it's my ignorance or the site structure of OH. When I log in I typically go to MY OH--Start Page where I see comments and posts from friends. That's how I found this one. If there is another post that you're talking about (not this one if you edited it) I went through 4 pages going back over a day and still did not see it. In short I either don't have my setting corrcet or the OH site is not very good at letting friends know whan posts are made.
I humbly request that you continue to post here. You have no idea the value and insight you and other longer term patients provide for us newbies and nearly newbies.
So while it's belated.....Congratulations on 4 years!

Hi Paul,
I generally post on the Over Fifties board and sometimes on the Michigan board.
We share a bond in that I am a patient at Grand Health Partners as well with Dr. Paul Kemmeter. Fantastic group of surgeons.
Thanks for your comments - I was just having a terrible day and didn't mean to hurt anyone else's feelings. I am a support group leader -- I should know better.
I am glad to help in anyway that I can.

No worries Pat, we all have bad days and venting is as important as any other emotional outlet. I hope to follow in your footsteps one day as a support group leader. In fact I'm lobbying the folks at GHP to consider me for a position with them after I graduate from GVSU in April.
Thank you for all that you do. Take care.
