Hang in there Sam....things happen for a reason.....surgery will be here before you know it. You want to be sure everything is all right. Take the extra time to practice good eating habits.

Hi Sweetie,

I'm sorry about all the hoops you need to jump through. I do agree with the girls. Things happen for a reason. May not see it right now, but one day you'll be able to say "I'm glad I waited."  Life can be funny sometimes. With all the health issues I've been dealing with I'm glad the knee replacement got postponed.  (Not related to WLS at all.) I'm using this extra time to strengthen my body and mind. November seems a long way off, but I'm sure time will fly by.   I believe yours will too. Take good care of yourself.   Mag

Sam,

I feel your pain, however, I had a friend who showed up the day of her surgery only to have to have it rescheduled due to an emergency with the surgeon.  I also had a friend who had hers postponed and her surgeon had her on a 2 week liquid post-op, so by the time she had her surgery she had been on liquids for 3 weeks and then there is the liquids afterwards, she laughs about it today, but not so much when she was going through it. . .  many of us have hoops to travail to get to that loser's bench, but you will be that much more prepared for your big day!!!

Wishing you the best and hoping your test results all turn out well and September 14th will be here before you know it!

hUGS, lAUREEN
