Got rid of the headache ... Imitrex is wonderful.

Yeah, the Indians were doing well, but losing Sizemore and Choo hurts. Don't know if the guys they picked up will help them. They're playing some tough teams now, too, like the Red Sox. If they're going to win, they have to beat those guys.

I don't know how people managed to live down here before A/C. I can handle it now as long as I don't have to be outside too much. As soon as I go outside, man, I can't breathe.

Hope the surgery helps your son.

Yeah thoe 2 guys were the best on the team I guess...oh well have to see how it ends up.

When we were down there the hurricane came through and the power was off also...yikes!!! Anyhow, the guys went to the bar (ofcourse) and the locals were sitting there with wet towels wrapped around their heads...guess they now how to keep their cool...lol

Ok I am back...here is the rest of what I needed to tell you. I talked to my youngest son last night on the phone. He has been going to drs for long time now because he has spots on his brain. He has 3 or 4 of them that they are keeping an eye on. They are not growing which is good! He also has a ruptured blood vessel which they arent doing anything for. He is having severe migraine headaches and no medications are helping him. So this time they gave him methadone to take for his pain. He is also taking many other pills for other things wrong with him. Many years ago he was riding a dirt bike and struck a tree with his arm. It is paralazyed. His nerves are damaged. He just learned that there is a hospital in Texas that he can go to to have a surgery done where they would take a muscle? out of his leg and put that in his arm and he would be in ICU for 3 weeks then after that put on another floor for another 3 weeks then not sure what happens after that. But he is excited about this. He said he would regain about 30% of his arm again. He hasn't been this excited that I know of in years about his arm!! So if he does this I am happy for him nd will pray that this works for him!!!

Well that is it for me for today...going to find something to do now that I can't sit at the pool or go for a swim....grrrrrr

Rick just came and told me his aunt Peggy called him and told him that they called her to see if she would babysit Anthony...she works and can't do it...poor Nicole had to miss work and watch her child...boohoohooo. Do I feel sorry for her? NO!

She got her chemo port in Monday. Also an appt. this afternoon, I imagine to discuss all options after the chemo. I did talk to her today on the computer, my son & I both have webcams, so I got to see her too. Her spirits are really good so far. Thats almost half the battle, her chemo starts tomorrow. Thanks Judy.

Thats great that you have the web cams!!! That helps you alot I imagine to be able to see them that way...prayers will continue for her and your family to get through this!!

Well, my doc gave me methocarbamol ( a muscle relaxer). He could feel the big knot to the right of the spine, and a smaller one starting on the left. He also gave me vicodin.
I stayed active doing what HAD to be done and now I have taken my pills, have a heating pad on my back and will crochet til the hook falls out of my hand as I drift off to La La Land!
