Hello Nan...I am seeing my doctor in the morning. I know after a fall like that the next couple days can be bad. I sure don't bounce like I used too!!

Thanks and many hugs....connie d

Connie, maybe you should be checked out. Especially that hip. Those of us with fibro are especially clumsy ... I've read that, I'm not criticizing. I can trip over my own two feet. I made sure I don't have an apartment with any stairs, and when I do have to take stairs, I take them one at a time.

Take care of yourself. Ice everything.

Eileen....yes, I did learn about the being more clumsy when I took my Fibromyalgia class. I know you aren't criticising....I would never take it that way. I was just in too much of a hurry and I know better.

I do have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow morning just to be on the safe side. Sure am miserable today. I am a tough old bird....I will make it through.

Thanks and hugs.....connie d

Good Morning Mag and Everyone who came before and those that might come after. . .

Reading everyone's posts and trying to catch up after a very active weekend that found me spending time with Tony, celebrating my sober anniversary with my Women's home group Saturday night, after which Tony and I went for Rita's, and then being sleep deprived because of my VERY inconsiderate neighbors, who failed to realize that the sun was not high in the sky as they carried on through the night, waking me out of a sound sleep at 1 a.m. and because Tony is deaf in one ear and was sleeping on his good one, he did not awaken until 3:41 in the morning and he could not believe what was going on, the hollering, carryings on like it was midday, and then when they turned on the radio, I lost it, by that point I had been trying to go back to sleep for close to 3 hours, so I opened my bedroom window, which I might add is right over their hot tub, did they consider that when they put it in last year, hell no, but the placement of their whole party set up is right outside my bedroom windows and trust me when I tell you they have a nice large lot with plenty of room to have set things up with consideration, anyway, I opened my window and told them, hey the party is over, you woke me out of a sound sleep 3 hours ago and I'm done waiting for you to be done, you have no absolutely no consideration for anyone, and the four in the hot tub get up and I hear, Ma'am we'll take care of it from here, and I see two cops standing in their yard.  My town is a quiet town after dark, except if you live next to the party animals and I guess someone else had had enough.  Sad thing is they are nice people, but no common sense or consideration, anyway, it quieted enough that I was able to go back to sleep, but was up at 7:30, so I only got about 4.5 hours of sleep, which took a toll on Sunday, but Tony and I went for breakfast,, he left at 1:30 and I got busy with house cleaning, laundry, ran errands to buy food for the week, met up with a g/f for dinner, ran to BJs, then went and hung out for a couple of hours in my friends yard, watching the humming birds and other wildlife, home to bed, yesterday I got up, went to the gym, dropped some things off at home, changed into my bathing suit and went to visit with my friend Di, where I floated on a raft in her pool for a couple of hours, after which I went home and started my food prep and getting things together for my work week.  It was a good weekend overall.

Today I went to the gym and am now at work, after work I will go home have dinner and then attend an AA meeting, after which I will go home and probably go to sleep.

Sending out thoughts of peace and strength for those of you going through various issues, prayers for all who want and need them. . .

Hugs, Laureen

Hi Mag and my OFF family:

I had some trouble sleeping last night, too ... kept waking up. First, I had problems getting asleep ... knee hurt something fierce. Finally took a muscle relaxer and that did the trick. So maybe the whole problem with my right knee (the replaced one) stems from the nerves in my back? Something to think about.

Because of the new press being used in Shreveport, we had to have one of the news editors look at our pages. So I had to march my pages back to the newsroom ... and it's a good two block walk. I should have brought my cane in with me ... my knees started going out from under me a couple of times on the way back. That's enough walking for me. The next couple of times, I found someone going back that way and send them back with the pages. Tonight, I'm taking my cane.

It's 97 degrees here already, Mag, and feels like 109 ... we're supposed to be above 100 again. At least your heat is dry heat. It's 49 percent humidity here and no wind. We did get a little rain yesterday early in the evening ... it really poured for a while ... no lightning or thunder or wind, it just came down.

Anyway, have a nice day. Last day of work tonight until Saturday.

Hi Mag and OFF Family,
I overslept this morning and was late to work.  Poor puppy, I did not even give him a good walk, and he did some of his business on my living room floor while I was at work.  My bad.

I worked for three hours this morning.  Then, I walked Utley, and we went to visit the fire fighters at the corner.  He loves them, and they give him treats.  He pulls me down there when they have the garage door open.  On really hot days, they have a water bowl they bring out and fill with water for him.  They have all sorts of dog treats for the neighborhood pups.  When my grandchildren were in town, they gave them plastic firefighter hats to wear when they walked by.

I have the rest of the day to write an important letter, and pack a few boxes.  Tonight, I hope to stay awake for the Phillies game.  I fell asleep before the game ended last night.  I was exhausted yesterday.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Hugs,
Trish

Post Script:  I have talked with daughter Chrisite twice today.  She seems to be much calmer today, thank God.  She has decided to stay put in San Antonio for the time being.  I told her if she and John can be civil to one another today (they don't have to LIKE each other, for Pete's sake, but just be civil in front of the baby), then I thought it was best for her to stay there and ride it out over the next couple of days.  But if all they're going to do is scream at each other like they were doing last night, then I think she should come home.

We'll see . . .

The AC repair man still has not called.  I have all the ceiling fans on high, the curtains are drawn, and the lights off.  It's just barely bearable in here.  I hope he shows up this afternoon!  Oh, well, I can always sleep upstairs tonight.

Thanks for the well wishes, gang.  Sometimes I think it would have been better to have been neutered like one of Eileen's cats when I was 20!  LOL!
