First Tuesday in August

Hi to all the OFF family,

    I should be in bed but my brain is working overtime.  I have a very busy day coming up. Have to follow my sis to the car repair shop (1 hour away.) Next we have to drive 35 or 40 minutes to my first doctor visit. Back to the shop to pick up her car. Drive the hour home. Then go to the next doctor appointment in my town. I'll be really tired I'm afraid. I was so tired today and now I'm wide awake. Go figure.  My clock is all turned around. lol Maybe I should take it to the repair shop. LOL.   I'm going to bed. HAPPY HOT TUESDAY ...
GOsh you have a busy day  ...You sure will be dead tonight ..
My sweet dog Sassy is still sleeping ..  she is such a lovecup ...She loves yogart and at night she get to lick the cup after one of us has eaten the nonfat flavor of choice yogart.   She is so smart.   She sees someone get the cup out of fridge and she sits quietly , never moving , never making a sound until you offer it to her ...   HAVE  I SAID THAT I LOVE THAT LITTLE 10 lb bundle of curly fur today :) 
Pets sure make our lives happy if your a pet lover.
I am feeling ok today , hope all of you are and that we all count our blessings ..  A coworker passed away Sunday ..   He had a;ready turned in retirement paperwork and was retiring next week.. He was on the back porch sitting in the swing Sunday am and when his wife went to wake him up after what she thought was a dozing in the swing, he was gone ..
We are all in shock and full of sadness today for his family ..
I am again TODAY trying to remember that GOD knows when it is our time and we will never know that and we have to live accordingly..
Have a safe and blessed day and remember to live and love as if there wont be tomorrow

Hugs Shirley, that was a shocker about your co-worker, especially when he was going to retire next week.

Take that cute little Sassy and hold/pet her. Pets sure are wonderful and they feel our pain.
You are so right that we need to count our blessings and give thanks to God. I think that is a wonderful way to pass on to your next life, sitting on the porch, looking at the beauty around you.

    I love animals but especially dogs.  Little foofoo dogs. I have had 4 Shih Tzus over the passed 20 years. I miss them so much. My sister is a cat person. We have a handsome male about 5 years old. I love him but wish I could have another dog.     Mag   

Mag, I have 4 shihTzu/ pomeranian mix. Sometimes I could lock them up, but most times I love them to death!!!

   I had 3 at once. That was a lot of bathing and brushing. And in the winter it took forever to get the snow off their legs. They all liked to play in the snow. Char-Lee use to put his head down and act like a snow plow. lol  Good memories.    Mag

im off to the car place myself, need an estimate on a dent.  the story of
how i got it is too long to tell here, but just lets say my fender met with
a surfboard.  thats prob the closest  i will ever be to a board.

anyway, things here are meandering along, cant say im feeling happy these
days, but im trying

Happy Tuesday Mag and OFF family,

It's another hot day here. I did go to the gym after work. They are redoing the locker rooms so we have to use the PT lockers/showers on the other side of the gym, then walk through the public areas to get back to the pool area. Just what I love...tramping through the basketball court in my Speedo swimsuit!! LOL
I think I might have scared the men playing basketball! Oh hell...I had a great workout and plan to go again today. I've never been ashamed of my body and I have never cared what people think of me anyway.

I might have my granddaughter this weekend so I'll be busy if she comes over, that child is very active and just goes! I wish I could bottle her energy.

I think I start my new job Aug. 14th. Just waiting to hear from HR on that one. I told my boss in my current job I would come in and keep this place a float if needed. She is very supportive of me and I just love her. So I will probably get the opportunity for some overtime which I would just grab it!

Hugs and prayers for all in need and it seems like there is a lot to pray for. Morgan, Nick, Julia's mom and more! Prayers for many who are fighting addictions, prayers for those who need them for finding a way to exercise, something that they can connect to and keep on doing. Learning to love our bodies how they turn out. Prayers are powerful! Debbie
