She will be having her line placed this week coming up and starting her first round of chemo Friday(august 5)....we dont have a surgery date for the line placement bu

Morgan Horten As soon as we do we will let everyone know...Morgan as well as all the kids are handeling things very well...Everyone will be going up to the hospital next week and morgan will be showing them around. Jamie and i still have alot of decisions to make as far as treatment after the tumor and we will try to keep everyone updated.

Nan,

Don't know if this will hel*****t, but my SIL recently had breast cancer and was treated at MD Anderson.  They also recommended chemo first, then surgery.  Seems to be the newest way of thinking about cancer treatment.  It worked very well for SIL.  Tumor shrunk considerably, and then the surgeons were able to get it all during surgery.

Praying for Morgan and your whole family daily.  Glad the family is remaining upbeat and optimistic.  We're here for you.

Nan.....I can just feel the stress.....I know too well what you and your  family are going through. So many very important decisions to make. A lot of questions and doubts as too whether or not the right choice is made. It goes on and on.

I am keeping all of you close at heart. Many, many prayers are being said daily. God Bless Morgan!

My daughter and Nic both said they would be happy to help in anyway they could to answer questions or just offer support.
Let me know if they can be of help. Jamie has a lot of knowledge about this disease., treatments, hospitals etc..

Love and hugs....connie d

Good luck to you and your family. You're in my thoughts and I hope this brave young lady makes it through again.

A coworker here in Monroe was just at MD Anderson with a rare form of ovarian cancer. Please keep Tabby in your thoughts too.
