Thanks Nancy! I have dealt with a bully in another job before and she was bi-polar! This one is just plain mean!!! I figure what goes around comes around...and she will get hers in the end!!!

     Trish,  I'm sorry that your son is not being responsible towards you right now. I hope he comes to his senses soon. I wish I could be with you to help.

    To those going to reunion, showers, and weddings. I will say a prayer that you have a wonderful time and that food choices are not a problem. Making wise food choices is not always easy as we all know, but I love the feeling of accomplishment afterwords.

     All others I will be thinking of you and keep you in my prayers.

      I'm up and feeling well. I know that the trazadone is a dangerous medication, but it is soooo good to get decent sleep. See the doctor on Tuesday. Maybe he will have something different to try that has less risks. We will also talk about the lack of REM sleep and possible solutions. I am hoping for a productive day.

       I have dishes to do and laundry to finish. Ellen was so busy working and visiting me that she had no time to worry about the house. She is so good to me. I am truly blessed to have her in my life.

      My friend found a place in Tucson that has the low calorie frozen yogurt. Several of us are going Monday to try it out. It will be fun to be out with the girls. Also I have a gift card to bed, Bath, and Beyond that my brother give me for my birthday (in November.****ep forgetting about it. I'm sure I will find many things that I want to buy.

Mag, I was on trazadone for years. It's an antidepressant, it's not dangerous. No risk of addiction. It helped me sleep for many years. Don't know what risks you're talking about. The only risks I remember were drowsiness, which is why you take it at at night. If it helps you, then take it as directed.

Post Script:  Back to the topic of what the heck to wear to the bridal shower today, I went through my closet and found a pair of like new size 18 white capri pants.  Then I pulled out a really cute pink and white vertical striped sleevless blouse, only it's a size 2X and much too big now.  It has really cute darting and buttons in the front, but I took it in at the sides and it fits pretty good now!  I think I can dress it up with some jewelry and pretty sandals and it will do just fine for the shower today.  Thank goodness! 

I sure am looking forward to buying a new wardrobe next year.

As for the wedding, hit a thrift shop and see if you can find something cheap.

Thanks, guys!  I think I looked pretty good for an old gal who was morbidly obese just 5 months ago!

The food at the shower was just as I suspected it would be: rich, gooey, fattening, and gorgeous to look at!  The punch they served prolly had 300 cals per cup!  However, there was thankfully a big fruit tray and lemon water.  So I ate a couple of strawberries, a little melon, and had my lemon water with me at all times.  I nearly starved driving home (ha!  I wish!), but I made it here and had my dinner all ready to heat up and eat.  

I did get quite a few compliments, so that was very nice.  What's that old saying?  Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels?  I think that's right!

Nan, please do post the address for Morgan.  I would like to send a card as well.

Trish.... we all lose our tempers with our children at times. They do know how to push those buttons!!

Cindi....hope those dizzy spells go away soon. That has to be awful to deal with. I am not so sure the surgeon is wrong on asking you to wait for surgery. You could have a hard time.

Annette.....I want to come to your reunion...YUMMO Italian Food!!! You are right....calories galore!!

Judy....sounds like your co-worker is a pain. I definitely would talk to HR. Maybe they can move her to another area. She certainly has  some issues!!

Eliza....glad you are having the stress test done. Always better safe then sorry. You will do just fine!!

Mag......I have taken trazadone for many years...I haven't had an issue yet. What side effects are you concerned about?
Bed, Bath and Beyond...love that store. I wouldn't have any trouble spending money there!!
