Mark was here just a little bit ago and he replaced our AC!!! It is now getting COOL in here!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHH!!! Now I just hate the thought of going out in that heat!!! Have to go to grocery store yet for things I need for my grape dish for tomorrow. Maybe I will wait til about supper time and pick up some take out for us so we don't have to cook. To hot to cook out and I don't want to heat up the apartment again cooking inside!! Besides it will be a celebration for us that we finally have the AC working!!!!!!!!!!

Now we are having power outs off and on...everyone is losing power not just us...guess alot of electricity is being used...power goes off for long time guess we hit the pool??

Hurray for the AC!!!

Man, you just need to forget about the fan. It's a total loss. Just chalk it up to experience and move on. That woman isn't worth all the angst she's caused you this week. Just let it go, okay?

That is what I told Rick!!! Might as well forget ever getting a fan again from her. He said he will NEVER loan out anything to them again!!!

I plan on celebrating tonight...heeheeheee ;-)

The grape salad is more like a dessert and yes I will share it!

Grape Salad

4lbs of grapes

8oz softened cream cheese

8oz sour cream

1/2 cup sugar

1tsp vanilla

chopped pecans

take grapes off stems and make sure they are clean and dry. mix cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla til blended well. add pecans and grapes. mix til all grapes covered. chill. serve whenever you want them.

I use the red grapes because they are sweeter in this recipe to me. Or you can mix red and green if you like for the sweet and sour grapes taste.

So glad you have A/C working. No rolling blackout allowed. We had a bad storm last night and early am. Some homes were still without electricity at noon. Ours never even flicker. Oh trust me if we were still in our old apartment upstairs I would be the worst ***** you want to meet up with!!! LOL Took lots of cool/cold showers to cool off that is for sure!!!

No more power outs today...still have heat warning for tomorrow though and I am working all day...yikes!!!
