SHE REALLY TAKES THE CAKE!!!

Ok you all know that Rick has been asking his mom for his fans back for weeks now...well today he went to her house to get them himself!! Got there and what he found he was not happy!!! His fans are broken!!!!!! He called his mom and confronted her about them. She KNEW they were broke and NEVER said one word about it all this time to Rick!!! He went off on her and she said she would get him A new fan. Umm there were 2 not 1. Wonder when she will replace the 1 fan?? When hell freezes over I am sure!! Just had to vent here as it is hotter than hell and another fan would be nice!!!! Still no AC here yet...tomorrow it is promised...not holding my breath either!!!

awww Judy, Rick's Mom is a piece of work for sure, but if not for her, there would be no Rick, so calm yourself down and while a fan is absolutely necessary in this heat, try taking a cool shower and then putting yourself in the fan's vicinity, it will help a bit. . .  years ago, when my two older kids were little and I was pregnant with my youngest, we had a heat wave of 104, I had no air conditioning, as I could not afford neither the air conditioner nor the bills that would have occured as a result of having them, I had box fans in the windows of the bedroom me and the kids shared, they were 2 and 3 at the time, and because there was a rapist in the neighborhood and Son of Sam was on the loose, I had the two windows that would give us any cross ventilation nailed shut, my ex had left me when I was 5 months pregnant with the baby I was then pregnant with and it was not fun, I would take a cool shower and run naked to the bed lying in front of the fan praying I would fall asleep before I dryed off, hope you find a way to be cool, but getting yourself worked up over Rick's Mom is certainly not going to keep you cool. . .

It's not that Laureen, its her lying all the time to him that sets me off and when I have to listen to Rick sound off it gets me upset also...I have tried the showers many times and still it is HOT...Thanks anyhow.

 Judy....she really is the wicked witch (your MIL). MOTHER's don't act that way towards their children!! She is very, very selfish!!

You and Rick need to move far, far away from them....what is stopping you? Write the crazy group off....sorry Rick but the insanity needs to stop!! Why keep putting yourself through that...leave!!

Connie his mom is a control freak...I will not move any further away from MY mom til after she is gone...we want to move to the carolina's. Rick has always wanted to live there and i am up for it just not right now. rick told his mom a couple weeks ago that if the apartment complex is sold then he would have to move to another location to stay with this company...he siad you should have seen her face...her eyes got so big and the look was like hell you are moving away!!! well guess what...IF we want to move we WILL and she is not going to stop us!!!! as for moving away...she WILL still call and give us her sob story over and over again....she will not leave the jerk and start over...she had a chance to live with nicole and the baby and she would not leave jerry...sad huh? she loves the drama as much as we hate it!!! we are done lending her anything!!! sad to say but she only knows how to take and not bring back!!! now the fans are broken and yet the temps are climbing and still no fan to arrive here for us to use to try and cool off!!!!

also the only son she cares about is joe. she goes to see him and do things with him and his fruit loop yet never comes to see rick and do things with him (us) only when she is hungry or needs something does she call!!!! so sad.

Wow!  you've really made me appreciate the special woman who was my mother in law.  Although she was very strong willed, she wanted to keep the peace with her daughter in laws, and I saw her contain her comments more than once.  She was a wonderful woman to share her son with me.

When I first met Rick's mom she was so nice and also gave me a place to stay when I moved here from Michigan...but the more I got to know her and the rest of the family...OMG!!!! I couldn't get me and Rick out of that basement fast enough!!! Once they found out we were looking for an apartment we were treated like dirt...Rick's step dad hasn't talked to me since!!! He figured we would pay the bills because they let us live in the dark musty smelling basement!!!! Yeah right!!!! Soooo glad that we got out when we did....

   I'm sorry you are having to go through all this. It's bad enough just coping with the heat. IS it hotter than usual in the Midwest? I'm going to Indiana late August. Sounds like no need for sweaters.   Mag  

Mag from what I am seeing on the news here it hasn't been this hot since maybe the 50's...tomorrow its going to be alot worse!!! The heat index will be 110* plus...heat warning is in effect at 9 am tomorrow. Hopefully they will get our ac up and running!!!!

Talked to another tenant tonight and she was commenting on how many people were at the pool today and they didn't live here!!! I told her I didn't know if those people lived here or not and I didn't think they did. She said she over heard one saying that they had to go to practice and then they would go home and swim in their own pool!!!! HUH??????? Then why were they here if they had their own pool??? So many are visiting so they say...Rick is going to talk to the other maint. guys and see if there is something they can do to make them prove they do live here or not!!!! Its not fair to those of us that live here and can't get in the pool because of over crowding in it!!!!

As for late August in Indiana...might need a sweater for night time. Never know how the weather will change. Better to be safe than sorry.
