HOT OUTSIDE AND NOW THERE IS A....
SKUNK out front of our building!!! And boy does it ever stink!!!!!!!!!!!! We thought the dumpster stunk but a couple was walking their dog and told me to NOT got over there pointing towards the office which is right across the street from our building because there is a skunk over there!!!! EWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!! Took Bandit the other way to go potty and told him we were NOT going to go near the office so he had better go soon!!!! He listened for a change and went poop fast enough for me to get back inside and not see that stinky skunk!!!! Thank GOD for that!!!!!
Worked all day alone again and I wore my Super Girl t- shirt!!! I sure needed it!!! Now I am all tuckered out and this humidity isn't helping me at all!!!
Went after groceries after we thought it cooled off some. $75 later (hardly anything in bags!!) we came home to bring the items inside and wished our AC was working!!!! Next wish was we had his fans here to use!!! I swear his mother has alot of nerve keeping his fans for "them" to use!!!! She even said her basement was dry now so WTH!!! Why can't she bring his fans back?????? He said he is going to call her tomorrow and TELL her to BRING them BACK!!!!!! Bet she doesn't do it!!! WITCH!!!!! (Being nice here) But like I said she has alot of nerve!!!!
Trying to find my cousin on FB and I came up with tons with her name...how do I find her??? Any help I would greatly appreciate!!! Her name is Catherine Fowler and she is from Wilmington NC.
Well time for bed because I have to get up again to work in the morning!!! Sighs.........

Had a family of skunks move in under our barn one time when I was a teenager. My daddy went to WAR with them! The horses wouldn't come up in the barn. The stink was so bad the hay got tainted and we had to throw it out. It was gross out there for weeks.

Well the stink din't come back behind our building all night so we lucked out!!!! Just hated the thought of having to shut the window in this heat!!!!
I am sure the smell was terrible Vickie...OMG to ahve to live like that for weeks...ewwwwwwwww But I heard that beer takes the smell out of whatever was sprayed...

We had a lot of animals come down to the valley when our mountain had a huge fire a couple of years a go. You should have seen me herding the 3 dogs into the house. That was hilarious. One went into our small mall and sprayed right at the front door of CVS drug store. Boy did that parking lot clear out fast. lol Mag
It seems like you're having one of those days - I sure hope you can get some fans, as the heat wave is supposed to continue for some time.
I remember many years ago we lived in Southern California, and I would take my toddler to the mall, just to get into air conditioning, and cool off!

Yeah one of those days...always one of those days with Rick's family!!! Sighs....I will be at work all day tomorrow and they are calling for hot hot hot and storms most of the week here...OMG!!!!!
Rick said he talked to his mom today and he told her he wanted the fans back NOW!! She said she would think about it...HUH?????????? Yeah its like he gave her our fans in her mind...NO we didn't!!! We NEED them back and NOW!!!! So if they are not back by the time I get out of work at 5 tomorrow we will go get them!!!!
Anyplace that is cool I would also go in this heat!!!! Can I sleep in the pool??? LOL
