Hi everyone, this week is ending on a sad note. My sister in law passed away on monday. She had heart disease and was confused. It was so hard to see her this way. I know she is in a much better place. Her funeral is tomorrow. Unfortunately there is lots of family drama. Every one wants to be in control. I am just staying out of the way. Good morning, ya'll.
What a diverse bunch of posts this morning, a wedding, yummo cherries and lake vaca, zumba in the pool, new glasses and a sad passing. I hope everyone's day turns out to their satisfaction. I know about being an in-law after the passing of someone you loved, but you still have to step back and keep your mouth shut. I was sooooo tempted to stomp my foot and yell, "This is not what Ginny would have wanted!!!"
This morming, even before the butt crack of dawn I dropped my DH at the airport to go see his brother. Our airport is little and the one he flies into is little. That means tiny seats on tiny planes and lots of layovers in airports that are way out of the way!! I know he will do fine on his own. He has done this before. But since he turned 70 I tend to think of him as incapable of things. His brother is 87 and will be picking him up at the airport and doing all the driving around. Now THAT is scary!
He will be gone a week. The day before he gets back I head north in the car to do my visiting. I am determined to finish this new afghan before I leave. It is for our DIL's co worker whose baby is due in a week! Speaking of DIL, she just buzzed thru to use my puter to check her bank balance. Her internet is down. Then off she went to spend the money she verified she had. Ah, to be young and full of energy!!
BTW, we have found Costco to have the best deals for glasses and RX's.

I'd love to meet you guys!! I have to be in Sidney by 4 PM on the 21st. I can be in or near Binghamton around 1:30 or 2. I know nothing in Binghamton, but I have Tom Tom riding with me, and he knows everyplace! If the 21st doesn't work, I will be back through Binghamton the morning of the 29th. I will also be passing Harrisburg that afternoon and I have lost whoever it was who lives near there and might like a meet. I have more flexability on the 29th
I think. I need to be in Woodstock, VA that evening, but no exact time. But I don't like driving in unfamiliar areas after dark.
I could just stop and see everyone!! This is gonna be a great vaca!
Anybody else I might be able to touch base with? Going from Jacksonville, NC to Woodstock, VA to Binghamton, Sidney and Valetie, NY.

Morning Carla and OFF family!!!

Boy so many of you making homemade goodies!!! I am jealous of you!!! They all sound so good too!!!! I tried to make freezer jam/jelly once and it turned out runny and that was before I had WLS. I am not a cook/canner etc so I give up on that...lol.

Went to T.G.I.F. last night for dinner. Had to celebrate our small electric bill!!! It was less than $15.00!!! They FINALLY gave us an ACTUAL reading!!! Its been an estimated one for months. I called a couple times and was told there had been so many power outages from storms they had to pull the meter readers...well finally it was read!!!! Also had a coupon for a BOGO dinner with purchace of 2 drinks. Very good deal!!! We tried the flatiron steak and boy was that ever good!!!!

Got all the laundry done yesterday and nobody waiting to use the macihnes!!! YIPPEEE!!!!! LOL All I had left to do was the mattress cover but its to big to fit in these machines so we will have to take it to the laundrymat for the bigger machines.

Today I am just going to be lazy and relax. I think I deserve to do that!! My back and feet need the rest anyhow. Long hours for working this weekend so I need to rest up.

Weather here is still cool but the humidity is on the way back for the weekend. Great!!! Our AC is still not working and the part is on order. So glad that we are on the bottom now and not upstairs!!!!

Rick was telling me that the people that moved into our old apartment are having alot of problems with it. Funny we never had any while living there!!! He said the thermostat isn't working and had to be changed, the carpet is full of dog and cat pee and poop...ewwwwww smells so bad need a mask!!! Also the dog chewed the carpet up and that was newer carpet too!!! Also the tub drain is plugged up...wow!!! So many problems up there!!!! Makes me wonder what the heck they are doing to it!!! Like I said, we never had ANY problems up there at all!!!!

Saw the manager last night when I had Bandit out for his potty walk. Told her about the jerk in the pool. She said she didn't get any calls about it but would keep her eye on him when she is out and he is in pool area. I told her he probably didn't mean any harm but still to be touching those kids without KNOWING them or ASKING the parent...she agreed. So see what happens now. He is just a jerk!!!! So many in here now with all but 4 apartments rented.

Took the shorts back to walmart last night. Got me some haircolor instead. I bought a blonde color again. Why I have no idea...lol just wanted a change again. Shake things up I guess!! So today I will color my hair. Besides the gray is showing again...ewwww hate when that happens!!!

Well I rattled on long enough so will get going. Thoughts and Prayers to those that need them!!!
