Soaking Saturday-What's UP?

Morning all....sober 243 days and so proud of me.
Soaking rain here and incredible Tstorms. Over 200 lightening strikes last night in a 3hr period. Shaken Yoda indeed.
Very busy yesterday, but a good day. Got my first SS check...hubby will take picture of me and check in hand...can I then use this as an official ID so I can get SS to reissue me a SS card?
Campground bursting with people and lots planned. So rain rain now and clear up so all can play.
Hope you all have a splendid and Happy 4th of July. Happy Birthday America, glad our Founding Fathers and Mothers had such vision and dislike for tyranny. God Bless America.

Good Morning Monica and OFF Family,

Yesterday, I had the thrill of babysitting my Munchkins. Lincoln took a nap, while Isabel and I watched Up. After the movie, we played with Barbie, and then we played Doctor. My son-in-law got a Fisher Price doctor kit at a yard sale, with everything in it. Isabel wants to be a doctor when she grows up. She took my temperature, blood pressure, checked my reflexes, and the checked my heart with the stethescope. She then found a band-aid in one of her containers and put it on a sore I have from Utley. She is going to make a terrific doctor.

I am up, and getting ready to go to an appointment. I also have to buy two gift bags for presents for my Munchkins. I had ordered some DVDs which did not arrive till after I gave them their gifts last week. I also got them each a T-shirt at the Celtic Festival last weekend. We are having a party tonight for both of them.

Good Morning!
I babysat my grandsons last night. I was so much fun. Today we go out of town as my husband does sprint car race photography, will be back late tonight, then I work Sunday and Monday.

All my school papers were turned in this past week so school is finished for summer! Yay! I am going to graduate school to nurse practitioner.

Surgery is this Wednesday. I am pretty focused on that right now. Also very nervous!

Happy for you with Gson fun. Lots going on in your life. Deep breaths and smiles. Remember to be good to yourself. Proud of you and school. Can I ask your age, know I have profound respect that you are pursuing your education. How lucky for those you will come in contact with as your medical journey proceeds. Your maturity and life skills will make you a wonderful NP.

Feeling kind of nervous is very normal. The hardest part of WLS was waiting for it to happen.
