Wake Up Its Thursday 0806 AM Tampa Airport!!!!!
Have a safe flight Carla! And have fun with your daughter.
Well I had a restless night, High winds cooked up around midnight and woke me up. Had to get up and shut all the windows, trees were blowing and the lights "blipped" once. Hubby still in Kentucky 4 wheeling it and they have a big ride planned on Saturday, he will come home Sunday.
So this morning I had to clear out several large limbs that fell from trees. I'm counting my blessings that the limbs missed my car. See...I'm always looking on the bright side! My glass is always half full...never empty! LOL
It suppose to be cooler today and rainy and it looks like it. I plan to go to the gym after work and work out in the pool. I sleep so much better when I work out.
Take care, hugs and prayers to all in need. Debbie
Good Morning Carla and those to come,
I've been MIA most of the week. Nothing excitng just busy. Mike's at our daughter's house "painting outbuildings" (which he is) but I suspect the main reason or the trip was Hannah, Clara and Briley time!
I've been subbing about every day. Tomorrow is the last day of school and early release at 10:30am so hopefully I won't be called! Today will be my 3rd day at the gym. Like Laureen I'm not seeing much progress on the scale but I'll keep doing what I know works. "Shut my mouth and Move". . . the scale will move eventually. I'm averaging about 4 miles on 3 pieces of equipment. I think I'll "buy a trainer" for an hour and have them help me choose some machines to work out on for strength training. I will not spend what they want on a 6 week session but I can afford one hour for instruction.
I've kind of been in a "While the cat's away the mouse will play" mode! Very little cooking, using up leftovers. Cooked taco meat has made me a taco salad one night, dinner omelet another, and I had fish out one night after going to see "The Bridesmaids" one afternoon. Raunchy but pretty hilarious.
Didn't get called to work yesterday so hit the thrift stores. Scored a great blue enamel coffeepot for the tent trailer and 4 new Bali underwire bras for $4.00 each still with the tags on. A lot of plus size clothing and the bras all with tags from a store that must have folded. Clothes were too large but bras were perfect. I know if I ever had the girls cosmetically enhanced they would be much smaller but even with all of the weight lost I still carry around way too much there. My shoulders especially the left one are really bothering me again. Don't know if the doctor will do another shot or not. They want to "scrape" the bone. . . Doesn't sound like much fun.
The weather continues to tease us here in eastern Washington. One nice day followed by 2 or 3 windy, rainy ones. I'm sure the cherry farmers are just about out of their minds. It's harvest time and too much rain followed by sunshine will split the cherries and ruin the crop.
Our asparagus crop has been poor because of the cool weather and it's not looking good for the cherries. We had a late frost so haven't seen much in the form of apricots either.
Mike will probably be home tomorrow and I've pretty much been a bum as far as the house is concerned so I better get a start on at least picking up in case he shows up unexpectedly. He's not a neat freak but he always makes the bed. . . Me I can crawl in it easily if it hasn't been made.
Hard to imagine Pennsylvania hot. Last fall as I toured Amish country it was cool enough to need a jacket!
Sending positive thoughts your way.

Getting used to wearing a bra again has been interesting indeed. Glad I found Bali bra's at an Outlet store for reasonable prices instead of VS.
Glad you are enjoying your alone time. Have you had the pop-up camper out yet this year?
The weather here is wonderful. The growing season in full force....rain is needed. Interesting to read how various area around the country have crop growing concerns. I often fail to realize the process a farmer goes though growing and getting the crop to market. Almost like hitting a jackpot with a slot machine. Farmers are brave to do it.
Trust me when I say it gets HOT here, 97 degrees yesterday, yuk!!!
Miss you. ..
Laureen
My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

Have a great time with your daughter Carla....wishing you safe travels!
I am waiting for the Direct TV person to get here. Our TV has been out since last Friday. Why does it take so long to get help? It has been hard for Grace as she misses her morning shows.
It was almost 100 again yesterday today's high is supposed to be 76....hard on the body!
That is about it for me. Wishing you all a really wonderful day!!
Prayers for those in need. Share an extra smile with someone today...might be the only one they get!
Love and hugs to all....connie d
