NEIGHBORS DOG....
Sitting here tonight relaxing after being called into work this morning, this huge german shepherd that is loose looks in my patio screen door!!! Ofcourse Bandit is not liking this at all and about goes through the screen after him!!! Good thing Rick had the chair infront of the screen door and also the nail in the top holding it shut because it is broken since we moved in here!!!!! A fight tried to happen between the two dogs and I grabbed Bandit and ran into the bedroom with him shaking like a leaf!!! I got my shoes on and got his leash on him and went to the managers apartment and told her what happened. She went to this guys apartment and told him again that he had to keep that dog on a leash when he had it outside!!! He said he was sorry!!! Well sorry doesn't cut it for me!! I told her I lost one dog to a violent death from another dog and I didn't want to go through that ever again!!! She said he was warned!!! I am so upset over this and the memories are flooding back to me like crazy right now!!!!
Sorry that I am venting here and airing my dirty laundry...but I have nobody else to vent to right now. Thanks for being here!!

I know about memories cropping their ugly bad memories up in our heads when we lose a beloved pet to a violent death.
Now, turn those memories out of your head right this very minute because it does no good going back into time. Hug your Bandit fur-baby and report this dog to animal control. Maybe if the owner has to pay a fine he will remember to leash his dog.
I know you are still hurting from losing your fur-baby. I'm hugging you right now and holding your hand. Words just don't do justice right now when you are dealing with past memories.
God Bless all our fur-babies who are waiting for us at The Rainbow's Edge. They are all playing with each other and having fun. No pain. Just happiness. Remember that Judy, no pain and they are just waiting for us. People who don't have pets probably don't understand. But I do. Hugs Judy, may you have good memories today. Debbie
I too never want to see any of my fur babies attacked.
Living out in the country that can be very real for me.
I had a beautiful pea**** that was attacked by something. I still miss this pea**** he had tons of personality. I'm very mindful of my doggies especially my 2 little ones.
Mag, it was awful!!! The memories of what happened to my Spike...OMG!!!! All came rushing back to me in a flash!!! I talked to others today at work and if I see this dog off leash again I will call the police and I will file a report on this jerk!!! Seems he thinks its a fun thing to do!! Smiles all the time while saying "sorry"! Well sorry just won't do if something happens to my dog or someone elses dog!!!
