Good morning Carla and others to follow!!  Yesterday was spent lounging @ home(my choice) and a nice dinner cooked by my DH & my sister.  They baked a ham, sweet potatoes, mixed vegees, and offered to prepare a banana pudding (sugar free) but I was so full that it didn't even sound good.  Later I took my furbabies out for a walk and then joined my DH on the front porch with a nice cup of coffee...so relaxing!!

Today is errand day, paying bills and grocery shopping.  I've got lots of good coupons so I'm ready!!  I'm also planning a nice lunch while out at our local Wetern Sizzlin.  They have a good salad bar that we enjoy.  Then home to bed because the day is our night with us working in the night now.

Everyone have a wonderful Monday.

Good morning Carla and OFF family!
Carla, good luck on your job hunting! Sometimes those shots in the dark open up windows.

Happy Belated Mother's day to all the mom's out there and for us mom's who never had children of our own but opened our hearts to other children...there our kids too! Love kids, they make the world brighter and happier. Spent Mother's day at my middle step-daughter's and it was also her 30th Birthday. Picnicked out in their backyard, played basketball with Rozzie and Remi. Did my mindful eating pretty well, only had a tiny piece of cake and less that 1/2 cup of ice cream.
Held my 2 little granddaughter's and just sat and relaxed.

Saturday went and got my "skunk hair" fixed at the beauty salon, guess I'll try to go to red from dark brown ever again...except in the beauty salon! LOL

Take care, I plan on going after work and doing water aerobics. Stretch my body out! Hugs Debbie

Good morning, everyone!

The good news is that I lost another pound!  The bad news is that my husband goes back to Saudi today.  Sigh.  Seems like he just got here.  So another long round trip to Houston and back for me today.  I am SO tired of making that trip!

Had a nice lunch out with my mom yesterday.  DH and I took her to her favorite restaurant for a late lunch.  It was still so crowded at 3 p.m., that we had to eat in the bar!  But lunch was good.  I had a grilled chicken breast topped with grilled shrimp.  Yum!  Ate half at the restaurant and brought the other half home for dinner.  I was actually feeling a little guilty about eating so much, but then I lost a pound, so go figure!

However, I am poised and ready to go to work on my WL while hubby is gone this month.  Got my treadmill set up in the living room--unsightly, but it's just me here for now.  I can walk every day.  Got my Pro Joe protein drinks in the frig--I can drink one and actually skip a meal.  Got plenty of lean protein and fresh veggies from my garden.  No excuses now.

I would really, really like to lose another 10 to 15 pounds before we go to Canada in June.  I looked through my closet and I have more in there that I could wear than I thought.  I tried a few of my things on yesterday in size XL.  The funny thing is that the pants fit (snug, but they fit) and the tops don't!  I have always thought my bottom half was bigger than my top half, but who knows?  Anyway, another 10 pounds or so, and they would all fit just fine.  So I have a definite goal for this month.

Hope everyone is set to have a good week.  Best wishes to all the students taking finals this week.  My oldest daughter in grad school has a big test today.  I wish I was there to cook her a good breakfast.

Love you all!

Hi Carla and family,
My cat woke me up at 5:30. That's way too early for me. I'm going back to bed real soon.
Good luck on the job situation. My sister put in for a transfer to another hospital in the same system and found out Friday she has been approved. She is so happy.
Vickie,  I'm sorry your husband has to leave again so soon. Good luck with your new equipment. I hope you enjoy it for a long time to come.
Today is wading through last week's mail and paying bills. I'm going to try on some smaller clothes. Need to buy some new slacks as I have none in the next smaller size. I have about 8 pair of slacks that I'm hoping I will be able to wear later in the summer. They still have the price tags on them. I'll feel really good when I can finally wear them.
I'm glad I didn't get rid of them when I was at my heaviest.
Everyone have a grand day.     Mag     I can't wait til I weigh next week. Hoping to hit the 100 pound in the lost ticker.

Oooh, got my fingers crossed for you, Mag!  100 lbs gone!  That would be such a fabulous milestone.  Hope you surpass it!

Good Morning Carla,
I had a precious Mothers Day with my daughter and grandchildren.  The sun was shining, and my son-in-law barbecued steaks on the grill.  My daughter gave me a gift card to a candle shop that I love, and don't have in PA, so I went there and stocked up on supplies.  I love that store, and wish they were closer.

I am babysitting today, so my daughter can work, and son-in-law went up North to work, so I may not see him before I head home on Wednesday.

Nothing else going on, but with a 3 year old and 21 month old, who needs more.

Hugs,
Trish

Good mornin', ya'll.
Yesterday was a great Mother's Day. Had a wonderful lunch at Outback. The steak was mmmmmmm good! Got a HUGE arrangement of flowers with a bear on it from my daughter. Got some wonderful smelling body products by Ahava from my son and DIL. I love the clean smell. But when I came out of the bedroom, my DH began sneezing! He is very sensitive to smells. Too bad, I love it!
Working on the border for Amanda's birthday afghan. Also, trying to watch a bunch of shows on my DVR that I have been neglecting!
My treadmill is in my dining room! Not exactly feng shway ( or however you spell it) but it does force me to get my fanny on it every day. No one comes here except friends and family anyway, so I don't care if they see it!
Everyone have a fantabulous day!

Grammylew, that's what I figured, too!  I had that treadmill in a spare bedroom and I never gave it a thought or a glance.  NOW it's smack dab in the middle of my living room and I can't ignore it any longer!  I hope I can get on it twice a day like you do!  You're an inspiration to me.
