What Noone Started us Out Today!!!!!
I am back in PA and in the office today, so real life has resumed. Would love to be back in FL, but the weather here seems to have caught in that it is spring.
So...a busy work day today and the gym tonight. In between, I need to get to the grocery store. Hubby didn't shop much while I was gone.
Mothers Day was a nice day - quiet, with calls from the kids. My daughter sent roses, and got to talk with my skin for a good long time. He lives close to my mom and keeps an eye on her, which I appreciate so much. He is kind and smart and hardworking - a great young man.
Daughter and her family are at Disney this week - first time for her since she was a little girl, and now with her 3 children. Such fun for them!

Hey Carla- how's it going? My Mother's Day was not so good, but you probably figured that out. My Mom is not doing too well. She barely eats, sleeps all the time, except for when I'm there. She fights to stay awake, doesn't want me to leave. The food at this place is sometimes pretty good, but mostly not. Mom says she isn't hungry. Sounds like what Nancy was going through. I'm going to try making some great soup like she did. Today all teachers are wearing black to school to protest budget cuts. I'm upset about that too, but my heart is mourning my Mom. Off to work dressed in black....

I had a very nice Mother's Day. Great to be with my family.
My daughter had to work at 4 so we celebrated early with a nice meal.
Grace was supposed to go with her dad at 3 however he called and changed it AGAIN to 6. I was supposed to go to another town and meet a friend at 4...no one asked me if I had plans..he always assumes I will just be here. I canceled again. We will be talking about this as it isn't the first time this has happened. I love being with Grace but I deserve my time too.
Last night I had Nic, his girl friend and one of his other friend's here....they were making brownies...oh my gosh...I got some of the best pics!! We always have kids coming and going here. They are such awesome kids and I really enjoy having them around.
Waiting again for the Cable Guy to get here....third time here in about a week.....no Internet on my daughters computer. Thank goodness I have an Air Card and we can hook that up.
Enough of my rambling....hope you all have a really great day!

Wow...lots going on. Prayers for those that are in need (job, family, sickness, etc).
We went to my DS and DIL for lunch yesterday. DS grilled brats, hotdogs and chicken. Then four kinds of salad, fat free cottage cheese, chips and an ice cream cake to top it all off. I had chicken, a spoon of potato salad, cottage cheese and a sliver of cake. Was yummy!
Today I'm working (as usual). Going home to work on organizing my stamp room, laundry and a "me" evening after DH leaves for bible study. :)

Getting on here late. Got up after 11 and have just been draggin' ever since. And everything I eat or swallow seems to feel like it's stuck. Protein drinks are fine, but anything else hurts going down, especially my vitamins or any big pills.
Thus begins Hell Week ... the guy who's been doing Monroe sports is on vacation and guess who gets to do it ... me ... and I hate Monroe sports. They never get their stuff in early, it's always a mess, it's very stressful. And I have one day off (Wednesday). Not looking forward to it.
Well, it'll be more money at least.
