Its !AM and Mothers Day

Thank you for the reminder!!! Brianna has a pink helmet but her new bike is orange and black. SO we may have to go shopping together and see if we can buy her a new racing one to go with her bike...thank god her mother is a stickler about her safety !!!!!
She is however, scared to ride, because it doesn't have training wheels..but we have assured her that we will help her learn.

Happy Mother's Day, ya'll.
I know everyone on here 1) is a mother 2) has a mother 3) or is married to a mother, so I'm sure ALL of us are thinking about some woman who has had a great impact on our lives!
I got up this AM to a Happy MD text from my son, sent just after midnight! He and my daughter are always trying to be the first to wish me HMD, or Happy Birthday, etc. After getting late night or early morning calls, I finally asked them to send a text!!
I have an Outback gift certificate, so we are all going there for lunch. My DH, me, our son, DIL and 1 grandson. The GC should cover the tip. The older grandson is working the MD brunch at the "O" club on base.
It is overcast this morning and will be most of the day. But no rain! So sad about the flooding in so many areas. And even some snow in the northern states. Everyone please be careful!!

I am enjoying a quiet morning....my daughter is home so I actually get a little me time this AM.

Happy Mother's Day all.....
The kids have left so they can get home to let their doggie out. We had a lovely lunch (altho' the broasted chicken didn't sit too well, it sure tasted good). I was even too full to have a piece of the orange chiffon pie later on....
Time to rest this afternoon. Have to be in Gr. Rapids at 8:15 a.m. tomorrow morning for my post-op check with Dr. Kemmeter. Long drive (2 hrs.) for a 15 min. office call. My son is going to take me, so at least I don't have to do all the driving. I am feeling really good now, even better than before the surgery, so I guess it was worth it.
