Just called her and no answer...thought she might be in the bathroom or sleeping. Few minutes later my brother called. Mom is back in hospital again. Seems she is having trouble breathing and also having panic attacks. She told him to tall me NOT to come back home again. I am worried sick!!! Please say some prayers for her!! Thankyou all so much!!!

Thanks to those that answered my post from last night that she was home...I was so happy...now this.

Thanks again for being here for me!!

Much love, many prayers, and thoughts for a great outcome for you and your mom. When my dad had his last mini "stroke" at age 90, both hubby and I rushed to Florida to be with him. Thankfully my dad was in a wonderful assisted living facility where he was monitored by staff while living in his own apartment. They realized his mental acumen had slipped and had him to the hospital for eval quickly. Upon our arrival I had an update from the hospital staff and was told that he had only 20% heart function. His confusion about his surroundings made each minute a nightmare for him. Watching this proud man suffer both physically and emotionally helped me realize that it was his time to move on into the next stage of "his life". Hard to realize, but it was the truth. We decided that no more special measures or actions be taken to keep him alive, oh he had a living will and DNR, but WE needed to honor those wishes. For myself, great peace, comfort, and joy filled me when the truth dawned on ME. He was going home, he had a wonderful life, touching many with his love, great sense of humor, devotion to his wife, super golf game, business sense, singing voice, and just plain goodness. Death was not the END for him, but a new beginning. A new beginning for his family left behind to celebrate the life.

Hugs for you sweet Judy

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen
