Gosh, Judy! Your poor mom and poor you! I bet she is itching to get home. Hospitals are not fun, but she is where she will get the care she needs. Take good care of yourself. Sending hugs and prayers to your mom and the other OFF moms who are having troubles.

I know this is tough on you, Judy ... I've been there, living far away (I was in Montana when my dad got the terminal cancer prognosis; he died a few months later). Not to scare you. But at least you are less than a day's drive back home. She is where she needs to be ... she had major surgery and it takes awhile to recover from it. Relax. Talk to her on the phone when you can, be as calm as possible. Her age is one thing keeping her in the hospital longer.

You've got lots in your corner; my thoughts are with you, too.

Thanks Eileen!!! I know its going to take her longer to heal because of her age...but the good news tonight...she is HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much for being here for me!!!! (((Eileen))) I know its hard for you also to be so far away from your family...it sucks at times!!!
