HOME AGAIN
And mom is doing fantastic!!! THANKYOU!!!! All for the prayers and thoughts for mom to have her surgery and get better!!! WOW!!!! She had a long day that day for her surgery!!! Went in at 6:30am and got out at 4:30pm when we could see her. She was out ofcourse so didn't know we were even there. She was out most of the night and had a breathing tube in her til she did come out of the anesthetic. She hurt like never before from being cracked open in her ribs. Nurse said that when he finally got her to sit on the edge of the bed he got ALOT of fluid out of her chest and that was a good thing!!!! She was in CVRR for 2 days and then moved to a regular room yesterday. What a change for her in such a short time!!! Her color is so good compared to how she looked when I saw her the morning of her surgery!!! Dr said if she can walk by tomoorw by herself she can go home!!! She is doing that well!!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! He said she is so strong for a woman of her age!!! She will be 90 on June 6th!!! I am so thankful to her dr's and all of you for all that you have done for her and my family!!!! THANKYOU!!!!! (((OFF)))
We got home about 6:30 tonight and we are tired out. Its been a long few days for sure!!! Going to bed in a few minutes and just wanted to let you all know that mom is doing great and I am back home again. Will be back in the morning to see you all again!!!

Thankyou Monica!!! And YES!!! It WAS a miracle that mom recovered so fast!!! Atleast in my opinion...lol When they took her out of CVRR and put her into a regular room it was like WOW!!! What a change in her!!! She came around like a snap of your fingers!!! She is doing remarkably well and we are still waiting to hear if she will be coming home today or tomorrow. GOD is good to her that is for sure!!!

LOL Connie!!! Yes my mom IS Feisty!!! We kept telling her she had to get better now for her 90th birthday party coming up and she said to hell with that she wanted to go dancing!! I told her we can do that!!! LOL
I told Rick several times thankyou for getting me to mom so fast the other night and again last night!!! He is my rock!!! Scared to death of hospitals but he IS there for me!!!! ;-)
And YES!!! GOD did answer my/our prayers!!! THANKYOU!!!!!!
And Connie, I am also happy for Nic to be celebrating his 18th birthday!!! WOW!!!! Please tell him I said Happy Birthday!!

Yeah my mom is a strong woman!! Even the dr's are amazed at how well she is doing at her age!! So for her 90th birthday she wants to go dancing...lol so we are thinking of setting up the CD player and having some music at my brothers and have some dancing going on so she can dance!!! We are thinking of having a BBQ and hopefully the weather will be nice!!!! Seems every year on her birthday there comes a nasty storm...so we are hoping this year the nasty weather holds off for a change!!!
