Wednesday, no way What's Up
Hi Monica and my OFF family:
I'm getting on here really late today ... slept til after 11 a.m. and still am in a lot of pain. Had a fun day yesterday with Patricia, the cat lady (Juliette's former momma). We went out to lunch at this local deli (well, I think it's a chain in the South) called McAllister's ... really yummy, not very expensive, then went to Walmart to pick up a prescription for her ... well, I wound up buying two pairs of capris and two polo shirts and some cat treats. Then we went to a couple of the cat colonies she feeds, then back to her place where she showed me her momma cat and baby ... there were more kittens, but a raccoon got some of them. Now there's just one little calico female kitten. So precious. I took some photos ... the cats in the colonies are a little skittish, but I did get some photos. One big tabby cat. Patricia thinks this is the colony that Juliette came from ... plenty of cats just like her ... smallish, long silky coats, black and white cats. Even the new momma cat she has at her home is like that, although all black with a reddish tint (like my Cinnamon) ... this cat has a strange tail, kinda skinny at the base, then longer hair as it goes up. Patricia called her Little Feather and the baby is Angelina.
I also got my inspection sticker for my car, so now I am an official Louisianan ... although Patricia says I have to have a dead armadillo on my grille.
But by the time I got home after 4:30, I was pretty beat and today I'm in a lot of pain ... we're supposed to get some rain. My body is feeling it. Already took on painkiller and it's not working. Pain going down my right leg. Had problems getting to sleep but once I did, I slept pretty well. Just am in lots of pain today.
Tomorrow I take off for Texas and my big weekend in Big D. Can't wait. So today I'm just doing laundry and picking up a bit ... not a whole lot.
Oh, and I talked to the lawyer about the condo association ... his receptionist said they are writing a letter telling them to lay off, stop billing me or they will sue them for harassment. Nice to have someone on my side for a change!
Monica, take care of your leg ... I put up with a lot of pain, too, but only out of necessity. If ice and heat and tylenol don't help within a day or two, get to the doctor.

Monica, 168 days is great. I know you will continue being strong. Sorry about your leg. I am concerned for you. Speedy recovery.

Our weather is great right now. I bought a new swimsuit. It's 2 sizes smaller. It's a one piece which mine will always be. I woke out w/ so much energy today. Going to head for the pool this afternoon for exercise. My 1st goal is to be constant w/ working out in the pool. My next goal is to walk the 1/2 mile to the pool, exercise, and then walk home. That's the plan. Balance therapy starts tomorrow. Looking forward to finding out what it entails.
