MOM UPDATE

Bad news here on my mom...they couldn't do the stent. It wouldn't go through! Soooo dr said she needs triple by pass. OMG!!!!!!!! He said more testing to be done monday and then if all goes ok the surgery will be wednesday next week. I am scared ****less to say the least!!!!!!!!! My mom will be 90 on June 6th and I am scared to death of losing her!!!! I am off work tuesday and wednesday so Rick and I will be going to Michigan to be with her and my family while she has her surgery. Hopefully she will come through ok and I won't have to miss much more work. If I have to so be it!! It is my mom and if I need to miss work I will!!! My brother said that if she has to be cracked open to have this surgery she will more than likely go to a rehab to get strong enough to come home again. GOD I hate this for her!!! I know I should be there to care for her and I am so far away...I hurt right now being so far away and not with her when she needs me!!! I don't know what to do...

So this is all I know right now. When I hear anything more I will let you know. Thankyou all for the prayers for her and my family!!! It means so much to me!!!

Gosh Judy, I totally understand why you are so worried. That is a hard surgery. Thank goodness you can go to be with her. I wish that you and she didn't have to go through it but they must think that there is a good chance of success or they wouldn't do it. Thank you for updating us.
